Bella Vista (Beautiful View) is a VERY CLEAN and beautiful home with Central Heat and Air in the Mountains of Maggie Valley, NC near the Smoky Mountain National Park and the Blue Ridge Parkway. Located 35 minutes west of Asheville this private setting is in an area with nearby streams and hiking trails and is easily accessible with paved roads. You will enjoy fabulous mountain vibe with views from the great room and master bedroom, as well as when you are relaxing in the hot tub, barbecuing and dining on the deck or sipping a cold drink while watching the colorful hummingbirds and songbirds.

You will be located only minutes away from many popular attractions such as the Biltmore House and Gardens, Cherokee Indian Reservation and Harrah’s Casino, Blue Ridge Parkway, numerous championship golf courses, horseback riding, exciting whitewater rafting, snow skiing at Cataloochee Mountain, Great Smoky Mountain National Park and Railroad, gem mining, as well as delightful craft and antique shopping and dining in Asheville, Maggie Valley, Waynesville, and Dillsboro. Viewing the elk in Cataloochee Valley is also a wonderful treat.

You will appreciate all the amenities of this Non-Smoking home such as a central heat and air conditioning, wood floors throughout, wood burning fireplace, refrigerator, ice maker, electric oven/stove, microwave and full size washer and dryer. The fully equipped kitchen includes granite countertops and everything you would need for a gourmet dinner. Besides relaxing in the step-down great room, which has lots of floor to ceiling windows to enjoy the wonderful view, you may want to enjoy the SmartTV (50" ) or Blue Ray DVD player. Wireless internet access is available for all your electronic devices. The master bedroom includes a new king size mattress and adjoining bathroom with NEW walk in tiled shower. It also features a 42” SmartTV and private deck with chairs to enjoy your morning coffee while catching up on the news or watching the songbirds. The second bedroom includes a new king size mattress, 42" SmartTV and also has a private bath.

This cabin has implemented enhanced CDC cleaning measures. The property is cleaned with disinfectant and contactless check-in and out.

Pets are welcome with a non-refundable pet fee. In order to prevent separation anxiety-induced damage from your usually well-behaved pets, we ask that you either take your pets with you or crate them when you are not going to be with them.

We have another cabin Bella Vita VRBO# 2427882. Feel free to inquire about it. It’s a 3 bedroom, 2 bath cabin located within walking distance to Bella Vista and has all 5 star reviews.

For those of you who have not spent much time in the mountains, most cabins do not have curbside garbage pickup. There is a free pull through recycling center within minutes so we ask our guest to simply take their bagged trash to the center when they are headed out for the day. Trash cannot be left outside since we have too much wildlife in the area.....think bears, elk, racoons, groundhogs, turkeys, coyotes, etc. The directions to the recycle center is located in the cabin. It's just one more unique experience of mountain living. As a convenience and for those who choose not to take their own trash, the housekeeper will take it for $5 a bag.

The place was extremely clean, had stunning views, and was the first place we had stayed in a very long while with a truly comfortable bed. We rescued a stray pup on the highway a few weeks before our trip, and Lisa was so gracious and kind to allow us to add her to our trip!

Great cabin and host in Maggie Valley

Our stay was great. The cabin is clean and has nice features. I didn’t meet the host in person but when I texted a couple of times she responded quick. The view over Maggie valley to the other mountain side was stunning.

Magnificent Views!

Loved our stay in your beautiful, clean, and well equipped home! The views were just breathtaking! Everything about this property was perfect, down to the comfy beds and hot tub nights looking at the night sky and magnificent mountain lights. Lisa is a great host and has thought of everything! Cataloochee and Relax

Hard to imagine better views in the area! We started the trip off with skiing at Cataloochee and used the back end of the trip to relax at the cabin. Super close to grocery stores, incredible golf and skiing, antique and souvenir shops, great restaurants, biking and hiking trails—Bella Vista is where you want to be when it’s time to unwind and take in the breathtaking mountain scenery. The cabin’s cozy atmosphere and stunning views from the living room made it the perfect retreat after our adventures, and sipping coffee while enjoying the mountain views through the large windows was the perfect way to start each day. Can’t wait to return!

Excellent Choice for peaceful stay

This cabin was perfect!!! The owners covered every detail one would need for an incredible stay. Just bring your toothbrush. I’d highly recommend staying here, taking in the beauty of Maggie Valley and relaxing.

Great house with an even better view.

Bella Vista is as advertised…great location with a view to match. We stopped in Maggie Valley for a couple days to hike and sight see. The house is very well situated to take advantage of everything the area has to offer and has everything you will need for your stay.

A Hidden Gem!

This property is perfect. Perfect for location, view, privacy, and overall stay. Lisa was great and attentive. We are definitely going to come back to this beautiful location. We loved the chipmunks who frequented the back deck and the birds were wonderful. Great location to Smokies, Blue Ridge Parkway, and surrounding area. Loved it.

Lovely mountain cabin with gorgeous views

This was an excellent getaway from the Florida summer heat. High enough in the mountains to be pleasantly cool and comfortable. The bird-centered decor was very much to our liking. Everything is provided, especially in the kitchen. Even has choice of coffee makers! You can't go wrong with Bella Vista as your summer destination.

Fantastic mountain getaway

We booked a last minute trip for the MLK long weekend and just wanted a relaxing place with Mountain views - we got that and more! First, the host was so easy to communicate with and quick to respond. The home is located above most of the others in the neighborhood so it really felt private. The kitchen had every item you might need and the wood burning fireplace was a fun treat. Plenty of hot water and towels too. The only thing I’d change is that we didn’t get snow - if the hosts can find a way to control the weather, that would be even better! :)

An ideal home rental !

We rented this house for the week of Thanksgiving. We had a wonderful time. The house was so clean. The beds were very comfortable with very nice sheets. The kitchen was stocked so well with cookware and utensils, dishes and glassware with a nice big ice maker refrigerator. The hot tub was large, clean and perfect. So relaxing and ready for use upon arrival. The valley mountain view is beautiful from the decks and from inside the main living area. Having a washer/dryer was handy, too, especially for drying our swimsuits. Each couple had their own bathroom. The master has its own but the hallway bathroom is also open in to the second bedroom and it worked out to keep the hall door closed and they used it as their master bath, as well. The house was conveniently located to the beautiful NC mountain area. Great for site seeing, fishing and restaurants. A nice 40 minute drive to The Biltmore, too. I would definitely rent this home again and highly recommend it and the owner, Lisa, was wonderful to work with for our stay.

The house was clean and well-appointed. The owner did an excellent job of preparing me by sending a list of supplies I might need (like soap, paper towels, etc), maps, restaurant listings, and other general information about the house and the area. I'm glad I had the supplies just in case, but I did not need most of them, as they were provided. There is about everything you could want in the kitchen. The owner also provided menus from local restaurants, which was very helpful when we wanted to go out to eat. The gas grill on the deck was very nice, and even has a side burner you can use for other cooking if you don't want to heat up the inside of the house. We used it to saute mushrooms to go on top of the steaks we cooked on the grill. They have a big hot tub on the deck, but we chose not to use it - it was the middle of the summer after all. So I can't comment much on the hot tub. The view from the deck is awesome, and we ate out there most nights and breakfasts. The beds and bathrooms were clean. The only down side we had was there was no air conditioning. We knew that of course, but at 3500 ft, we thought it would be a little cooler. We were there on one of the hottest weeks of the summer, and it generally did not get much above low 80's, but still - inside a house, that can be warm. On the upside, there were ceiling fans in every room and an extra floor fan. If I were renting in the middle of the summer again, I would take a couple more floor fans with me. Overall, I would highly recommend this house for vacation. We hope to go there again! Oh and for older folks - there are hardly any steps to deal with.

Nice cabin. Had a little problem with the keypad.

Nice view of the valley and mountains. We didn’t travel around much due to our dog’s age. The living room could use some curtains for watching TV. We enjoyed the hot tub and the porches. Wasn’t cold enough to use the fireplace. Overall very good vacation.

Sweet Bliss

I recently had the pleasure of spending the weekend with my best girlfriend of 44 years from high school. We each brought our husbands with us. We couldn't have asked for a better place to spend this special weekend. We were so pleased with all the thoughtful things that this host provided. From the flashlights and phone chargers by the beds to the emergency numbers on the fridge including fire police and towing to the list of great places to eat and local attractions. Plus so much more that I won't even list here. The home was beautiful, inviting and so comfortable. This will be our go to place in this area for the future. I can't wait to return. Beautiful View!!

We really enjoyed our stay. The view is breathtaking. Especially at night. We loved waking up to the sunset with our morning coffee on the deck. The mattress was so comfortable. Beautiful View from the hot tub/deck/living room

The little extras stocked in the cabin were perfect! Pancakes for a breakfast, dry shampoo was a life saver! The little extras were so thoughtful, making the code the last 4 of phone number, the extra birdseed, the beach towels for the hot tub, thank you for everything! We will certainly be back!

Beautiful property and location!

This property was perfect! The house is pristinely clean, very cozy and comfortable, provided privacy and quiet. After a day of hiking, we looked forward to sitting on the deck with a glass of wine and a book followed by the hot tub, all with an amazing mountain view. Communication with Lisa was easy and informative. Beautiful location to visit and hike the Great Smokey Mountains, visit Lake Junaluska walking trail that encircles the lake, rent a kayak or go swimming in this pristine lake. We will be back to this lovely cabin!

Anniversary Roadtrip

Great location. Beautiful views. Had a black bear on the property the first night we were in town. Saw elk in Catalooche Valley, and black bears on the Blue Ridge Parkway. If we ever find ourselves in Maggie Valley again, we will definitely be staying at the Bella Vista.

A little slice of heaven

Our weekend stay was absolutely wonderful. The cabin is as comfortable as home, but with a much better view! Lisa put so much thought into the extra touches - like bird seed and hummingbird water to keep the bird feeders full. We really enjoyed the hot tub and just how peaceful it was out on the deck. And did I mention the view? Whenever I hear the term million-dollar view, it will remind me of our stay at Bella Vista.

I loved vacationing with friends and family in the mountains and have visited many different mountain towns, but fell in love with Maggie Valley again, after visiting many times as a child. I searched long and hard for a perfect cabin and here it is, Bella Vista which means 'Beautiful View' in Italian. I am sure that you will enjoy this cabin as much as I have!

I purchased this cabin in 1999 and have met so many wonderful guest over the years who remain cherished friends. We strive to keep the cabin updated and in proper working condition so you can enjoy your stay and be worry free.

We are local to our cabins and can be quick to respond if the need arises. We know how to take care of our guest because we want you to return year after year.
