The house is fantastic for groups or family. Bedrooms on every floor gives privacy. While the open floor plan and deck gives space for time together. Beach views and the sunsets made this house a fantaastic vacation destination.

The beach view was beautiful and the beach access was directly behind the house so we had an easy time getting kids to and from the beach. The house was well stocked and comfortably fit our whole family. Absolutely would recommend for different families staying together as well because each bedroom had their own bathroom. We had a wonderful time and would be glad to go back!

The house itself and its location is great.We are docking stars because the beach pictures need to be updated. We understand that the beach may have washed away and beach restoration is in the works, but that should have been disclosed in the pictures.We had 5 small kids with us ages 1 through 8. There were huge tree stumps all over the beach. These did not wash out there overnight, these big tree stumps have been there a while. Locals told us this too. There is no dry sand to pitch a tent. And halfway through our stay, the stairs leading to the beach collapsed and that access was closed off. Again, we understand there’s been bad storms and there’s a beach restoration happening nearby, but what the pictures showed and what was the reality was not at all enjoyable for my young grand children and flat out dangerous for them.If you are renting this house this year and this summer, you may want to ask for updated pictures so you know what you’re getting.

Excellent Location

Great distance to the beach, very very short walk. The local convenience stores and seafood market is a quick ride away (and even could be a brief walk if you’re interested). Enjoyed this house and would recommend it to anyone.

perfect for our family

We were at CSB for our annual Memorial Day reunion. We have stayed several places, but this was the best to date: right on the beach, right on the walkway, easy parking, nice deck, lots of useful accessories provided. Thanks so much.

Perfect Experience

Everything about this property was better than the pictures could describe. We had everything we needed, it was super clean. The beds were very comfortable. Lots of parking available and beach chairs to use. The kitchen was fully stocked for family cooking. Would surely book again.

It was beautiful! May need to update the instructions for the property but it was easily resolved with the property manager. Would highly recommend this place!

Great get away

Lots of room. Great location on the beach. Grill was rusty but had items to cook with in the kitchen. The outdoor eating area was great and views were amazing. Wish it had more towels, washcloths, and blankets. Beach access and boardwalk were nice. Outdoor shower was a storage area but had hose pipe to wash off the sand. Overall great place to stay.

Beautiful and Peaceful

This was our first visit to Cape San Blas. Beautiful area and very comfortable rental beach house. Our family cooked a full traditional Thanksgiving dinner and the kitchen was well stocked with all the dishes/pots/utensils needed. Very clean and peaceful with the perfect view. None of us wanted to leave when the time came.Will definitely rent again and highly suggest this property for an enjoyable family get-away

Scalloping weekend

4 couples stayed in this great beach house for a weeknd of scalloping and beach. Each bedroom had a king bed and its own bathroom. Wonderful common room and decks with beach front views. Plenty of parking for 3 cars. Furnishings were great and we all loved it. We will def be back.

Fantastic property

My family stayed for fall break. It was my husband and I and 4 children age 11-16. It was a perfect location with many amenities. Each bedroom was a king room with a private bath which was great for our group. The property provided beach chairs which was very nice. They also provided little items like soap, shampoo, laundry detergent, dish detergent and paper products. The walk over to the beach was in excellent shape and made access very easy! The property was very clean and nicely decorated.

When we arrived, the doorknob fell off in our hand (we had a screwdriver and was able to fix it). The house was pretty clean (although, I did question if the sheets had been changed in the main level bedroom). The cabinets were FULL of left behind spices and oil; the shelves were sticky and dirty.All of the beds were miserably uncomfortable, like they were an afterthought and got the cheapest ones available.Access to the beach was amazing!Overall, we had a great stay and enjoyed some much-needed family time.

A Great Place for R and R

This house was a great fit for our group of 4 couples. We each had our own bedroom and bathroom. The house was clean except for the oven and coffeemaker. The owner responded quickly to any questions I had. There is a very short walk to the beach. Really nice umbrellas and beach chairs were available to use. The home is within walking distance to St. Joe Shrimp Company and a cute store, bait shop and Webber’s donuts. The home was comfortable and had all the essentials we needed. I would definitely stay here again.

Relaxing stay

The house and location were perfect. Lots of amenities and so close to the water! The beach chairs and towels provided made packing so much easier! Had a great time relaxing with the family. The slower pace of the area was a nice change from 40 miles north!We were told that by a local that there's been alot of beach erosion over the past few years from hurricanes which has made the beach itself quite narrow. Additionally, as sand has been carried away by ocean, remnants of a petrified forest have been revealed, so there are several areas very close to the house where old wood is sticking out of the water, making boogie boarding and play a little more dangerous. There are areas close by where there is no wood but just not right behind the house. If that's important to you, you might want to consider another area.

Great place and beach

House was great. Plenty of room and well stocked with most things you would need. They even had some beach towels we could use, which was nice. The water, while we were there, was clear and warm. No seaweeds or jelly fish the whole week. We found some decent shells, but nothing much there. The only downside, if it is one, is there is a shared beach access with maybe six houses, so it was a bit crowded, but everyone around us was very nice. No loud music and no cigars. I mention the beach access, but you do need to check a potential property to make sure they have one. A good number of the houses had their access washed away, so not sure what those people did. There is a house partially sticking out in the water about 3/4 a mile to the south you can't get around. There is a house about 1/2 a mile to the north you can get around by walking in the water a bit. Both the north and south side of the south house had a ton of people, tents, fishing, and loud music. If you like more action, maybe you want to be closer to that. Not many choices to eat on the Cape, but Port St. Joe was only about 20 minutes from this house. They have plenty of options. Sisters was our favorite, but there were a good number we didn't get to try. All in all, we loved the house and the beach, and we would stay there again for sure. However, we might check some of the other houses in the area that might be a bit more isolated
