Perfect location. Central to Santa Rosa, the coast and all the great spots in-between. The home was very comfortable and well maintained and had everything we needed for our stay.

Everything was clean and tidy. There is fantastic smelling shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in every bathroom which was nice. The hot tub was very relaxing. The Rio Nido neighborhood that the house is in is very cute! There is a roadhouse with food but we didn't get a chance to go to it. We went to Main Street Bistro for their live music and it was so much fun! Great dance music at Rainbow Cattle Company too. We would stay again.

The house was clean and ready for our visit. The kitchen had plenty of pots and pans to use for cooking. The hot tub worked well and was used several times during our visit. Communication was excellent and had great instructions for our stay.

Vacation with our daughters and sons-in-law

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: There was plenty of dice for three couples with great home layout, room for outside dining and bbq, as well as the relaxing jacuzzi. The only disappointment was stained sheets, bedspreads needed cleaning, and throw rugs could stand a wash.

From the smallest of details to the greatness of the place, we absolutely loved our stay here. We were greeted to soft music playing, welcome goodies, clean environment and we felt immediately at home! The house was very clean and it had everything that we needed for our stay. We loved the views out of the living room. We used the deck table to do a puzzle as we watched the beauty around us. Spacious rooms with comfortable beds! The kitchen was amazing! We got to use the hot tub and loved sitting in it under the stars. Thank you so much for letting us stay here. We highly recommend this beautiful home. By the way, we walked around the streets and this house is the nicest one in the neighborhood! Great job!!

This was a beautiful property. Clean, modern, comfortable and spacious. When we first drove into the area we were a little concerned. Some of the properties weren’t well cared for. But our area was great. Know that it is quite a drive to Healdsburg - maybe 25 minutes. Also know that the walk up to the front door is STEEP. It is not for anyone who has mobility issues. We also felt a little exposed due to no window coverings on the two-story windows in front and in the kitchen. All this to say, we’d stay there agin.

We stayed here for 2 nights with two couples. The house was well-stocked, clean, and near all the things to do (river, big trees, wine). Beds were comfortable. We needed a few supplies and the host delivered that day. We’d definitely stay again.

We stayed here with six adults and a few young kiddos, and the accommodations were perfect. We followed the recommendation to take screenshots of the arrival instructions and did not have any issues accessing the property. For future guests, if you are bringing three vehicles, I recommend taking one that has more clearance underneath. The driveway is steep and small cars might scrape. This was not a problem for our group, but I thought it was worth mentioning.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Really enjoyed the time here with my friends! The location is nice because it's such a short drive from town, and it's really quiet. Loved having the hot tub and 3 bathrooms. The home was stocked with all the basic kitchen essentials to cook up breakfast for everyone. The place was fairly clean, although I'd prefer an additional go around to get the floors cleaner and grime from the showers. Overall, really enjoyed the time there.

in the trees

My family loved our stay at the Wood Chalet.. Every room feels like you are in a tree house (but with great beds), and the cathedral windows in the living area is magnificent. Not to mention to hot tub nestled in the majestic trees!!

We had a great stay! We were especially pleased with the kitchen as there were many items we don't normally see in a rental- a dutch oven, instant thermometer, and a good variety of cooking utensils were some of the most helpful items we usually have to bring ourselves. And when we needed more kitchen towels, the manager brought over a few more right away.

Wonderful getaway

The place was a great escape into a more natural redwood setting. We were surrounded by beautiful redwoods and the place itself was so clean and modern and very comfortable. The beds were surprisingly so comfortable. So close to downtown Guerneville and what the location has to offer.

We enjoyed our stay in Rio Nido - the house suited our needs well for a couple and two singles for a weekend. All the amenities were provided. Check-in and -out were simple and effortless.There are a lot of stairs to access the property, and more inside - which was not a surprise based on the photos, but something to take into consideration if you have elderly folks or some bad knees, and we had both. The driveway is exceptionally steep, and we made one aborted attempt to park there - because if we opened the back hatch all our cargo would have emptied itself down the hill - so we just parked across the road in the designated area and it was a non-factor other than needing to carry our luggage up the stairs next to it.The layout of the home was nice, with a BR on the main level and two more upstairs, each with a private en-suite bath. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything we needed other than a paring knife, and we loved the deck off the living area for enjoying our meals.The Rio Nido Roadhouse burgers are no joke - best we’ve had in a while!The only reasons for docking a star? 1: A very moldy shower curtain in our upstairs bath2: A lack of window coverings in what we consider private spaces. Like the bathroom or bedroom. We’re aware this area is a Bohemian paradise, but we were uncomfortable and exposed while undressing and/or using the bathrooms, and felt forced into adopting the ‘lifestyle’. Maybe that’s on us, but that’s how we felt.

Wonderful house

We had a wonderful stay. House was lovely and we appreciated the games and things for kids. Very quiet neighborhood and we even saw some deer outside our window. Would stay again.
