About this property

Adorable rustic cottage hand built in the 1945--tiny but comfortable (500sf). This little gem is part of a group of 10 tiny cottages that were built in the early 50s by several families. Some are still owned by descendants of the original families. Sometimes there are a few families visiting their homes, but other times you have the whole place to yourself!

We are very attentive and caring owners and are pleased to share our cozy little getaway!

There are 2 small bedrooms. The master bedroom has a double mattress on a metal frame. The 2nd bedroom has a bunk bed with a twin mattress on the top and a double mattress on the bottom. There is one small bathroom with a stand up shower. This little building is just right for a family or adults who don't mind that the privacy is very limited. The location is around 30 minutes from just about everything: Burlington and Middlebury (including their colleges!), the ferry to New York, shopping, leaf peeping, hiking, etc. When you come back from your travels, enjoy the mountain view from the screened porch or from the lake in one of the provided kayaks or paddleboat. Parking is free with 3 spots available.

Len and Roxanne Boston have lived in Vermont for 26 years, though originally from the Carolinas and Florida. They are only the 3rd owners of this cottage that was built in 1945 having just acquired it in 2022 and are working to keep its rustic charm while making it as comfortable as possible.

The property is close to many amenities yet feels like you're far away from it all. It's cute and quirky with a lot of charm. Comfortable and quiet but near everything you may need.
