In the the well-known German ski resort Garmisch-Partenkirchen, the Katharinenhof holiday apartments are located in a pretty house with large lattice windows and a breathtaking view of the mountains.



The 75 m² holiday apartment "Zugspitze" can accommodate 5 people and is located on the 2nd floor of the building. With its high-quality pine wood furnishings, it radiates a cosy atmosphere. The apartment with sloping ceilings and wooden beams consists of a living/dining room with a sofa bed for one person, a well-equipped kitchen, 2 double bedrooms as well as one bathroom (with a corner bathtub). The child-friendly apartment's amenities also includes Wi-Fi, satellite TV, Sky, toys and children's books. A washing machine, a baby cot, a children's bed and a high chair can be provided if requested in advance. Access the furnished, private balcony from the living room and enjoy a tasty breakfast on sunny days or unwind while admiring the snow-capped peaks. The absolute highlight of the apartment is its exceptional location, which offers a breathtaking view of the mountains. Countless hiking routes with alpine pastures and mountain huts, where you can take a break as well as downhill runs for winter sports enthusiasts are in the immediate vicinity and are waiting to be explored. The Kreuzeck cable car, Alpspitz cable car (2.2 km or a 4-minute drive) or the Hausberg cable car (2.4 km or a 6-minute drive) take you to unforgettable viewpoints and slopes - enjoy the clear view over the snow-covered wonderland in winter and the lush green meadows in summer. The Riessersee lake with its beach, restaurant and café is 2.4 km away. Close to the accommodation you will also find a small selection of restaurants (250 m) and supermarkets (650 m).

Comfortable and convenient

This apartment was very comfortable and well equipped for our small family of 3. It is in walking distance of 2 small grocery stores and if you walk a little further, to the downtown. The road is noisy, as mentioned, but it does quiet down in the evening hours.

Very tidy traditional Bavarian Appartment

Pros: The host was a really cool guy, nice an clear instructions for our stay, the Appartment itself was in perfect condition, you can find everything you need for self-care in the kitchen. The location is very central for every need that comes up. Many restaurants and supermarkets as well as gas stations. Cons: There is nothing to complain, just note that the parking spot goes over a hight curb what makes it rather difficult for most vehicles to climb over.

Wander Urlaub

Eine zentrale Unterkunft mit einen traumhaften Blick auf die Berge . Viele Sehenswürdigkeiten schnell erreichbar mit Auto und wer fit ist mit guten wander Schuhe kommt auch zu Fuß weit. Der Gastgeber sehr hilfsbereit und immer erreichbar. Die Unterkunft liegt an der Hauptstraße die gut befahren ist das war das einzige . Unser Hund war auch herzlich willkommen worüber wir uns sehr gefreut haben. Wir würden wieder diese Unterkunft buchen .

Schöne Wohnung für bis zu 4 Personen

Pros: Von unserer Wohnung im Haus hatte wir einen super Ausblick auf die Zugspitze! Das Haus ist sehr ordentlich, alles im Schuss und im EG befindet sich sogar noch eine Kneipe, die vom Vermieter betrieben wird :-)

Geräumig und sauber, alles top

Waren mit unseren drei Kindern dort, alles da was man so braucht, die große Badewanne war super nach dem langen Tag im Schnee. Wenn man nicht empfindlich ist, macht der Verkehr von der Haupstrasse nichts aus.

Pros: Alles was man für einen Skiurlaub benötigt. Das Appartment lässt keine Wünsche offen. Bequeme Betten, gute Lage, gut ausgestattetes Bad und genügend Platz. Cons: Leider hat es sich nicht um eine Raucherwohnung gehandelt aber das ist verkraftbar.

Very clean and comfortable apartment in a great location with easy access to Zugspitze and Garmisch.

Visited Germany with my brother and retired parents to revisit the area that we lived in in the early 70's. Great apartment, well appointed and clean. We enjoyed it very much.

Pros: Es war sauber, wir hatten alles was wir brauchten (Handtücher, Klopapier, Geschirr/Besteck und co.) Cons: Parkmöglichkeit, leider an einer Stark befahrenen Straße, leider keine Jalousien nur Gardinen.

Gute Basis im Winter

Verkehrsgünstig zwischen Hausberg und Kreuzeck gelegen ist die Wohnung eine gute Basis für Skifahrer. Beide Gondeln sind in ca. 5 Minuten erreichbar, wenn man nicht in den Stau gerät. Die Wohnung war sauber und sinnvoll geschnitten, alles Benötigte war vorhanden. Wir haben uns wohlgefühlt. Für den Sommer können wir uns die Wohnung durch die laute Straße allerdings nicht vorstellen. Mit offenem Fenster hätten wir nicht schlafen wollen.

Schöner Urlaub!

Pros: Schön geschnittene Wohnung, 2 große Balkone und Wellness-Bad. Über die Buslinien, die für Gäste kostenlos sind, ist in GAP alles gut zu erreichen. Cons: Baustellen im Ort haben dafür gesorgt, dass aller Verkehr über die eh schon viel befahrene Straße vor der Unterkunft geleitet wurde. Ein Sitzen auf den beiden schönen Balkonen war so kaum möglich.

Ein toller Urlaub in einer guten Ferienwohnung!

Pros: Die FeWo war sehr sauber und hatte alles da, was wir für unseren Aufenthalt benötigt haben. Ein Ansprechpartner war immer vor Ort. Die Lage ist super, auch wenn es direkt an der Straße liegt. Ein süßer Bäcker und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind in unmittelbarer Nähe, auch das Zentrum von Garmisch ist schnell zu erreichen. Die FeWo ist ein guter Ausgangspunkt für verschiedenste Unternehmungen. Cons: Wir konnten gut schlafen, aber es bräuchte mal einen Schwung neuer Bettdecken/-kissen. Weiterhin hat der Kühlschrank nicht optimal gekühlt, was allerdings auch am warmen Wetter gelegen haben könnte.
