Nestled in the heart of one of the most beautiful areas of the country, Roos Cabin is a great place to begin and end the day. Clean and cozy! 5 bedrooms will sleep plenty, but these are just double beds, so tight squeeze for couples.

Great property
If you are looking for a place large enough for a gathering this is definitely it. House was very clean and cozy. Only downfall was it was snowing a lot and the snow was not removed from the entrance nor was a shovel provided for us, this made it pretty hard for us to enter the home. Also they do provide all utencils needed and even a grill to make your meals. However there was no gas on the tank and when i contacted them about that was told they did not replace or fill out the tanks. It would be nice to know that prior to the trip to prepare accordingly since the house is not close to any stores and the snow made it that much difficult.

Thank you for your review, We have made note of items you mentioned and taken care of them. Yes, it is very difficult to talk care of all the snow in a prompt manner. We look forward to your return.
I will start by echoing a previous review where we spent almost our entire trip without internet. This was very disappointing considering that I had specifically checked before booking and was assured that internet connection would be working. Other than that, as I see it, internet is part of the package being advertised for this rental property. Long story short, there was no internet when we arrived on Sunday and it was not fixed until Thursday afternoon when we only had 1 more day of vacation.Other than the internet issue the cabin was in good condition with a fairly decent layout. All other amenities were available. The place was cozy although the fireplace inside the house did not work. It was entrapping the smoke. Seemed as if the chimney needed cleaning. They do have cable with a BBQ. All in all we did not let the lack of internet, or false advertisement, ruin our trip. We were there for Christmas week and love going to Duck Creek. Lastly, I will say that you do have good communication with whoever was responsible for messaging. This cabin is run by a property management company. Ultimately the property manager reached out directly which was nice.

Thank you for your feedback. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused by the internet issues during your stay. Unfortunately, being in a rural area, high-speed internet can be limited, and while we worked to get the service provider out as quickly as possible, their response time was beyond our control. We will update the listing to reflect these limitations.
Regarding the fireplace, we’re sorry it wasn’t functioning properly during your visit. It was tested and working prior to the season but is being looked into to prevent future issues.
We’re glad you found the cabin cozy and appreciated our communication. We value your feedback and will use it to improve the experience for future guests.
We booked this property to have a great time with friends and relax. Everything was great leading up to the trip. The host was very quick to respond and seemed like everything was going great. When we go to check in, the door code doesn’t work. Luckily there was a key in a lock box so not a big deal. But one major reason for booking this property was because it said it had WiFi, which it wasn’t working our entire trip. I reached out to the property manager who told us it would be fixed by a date that was after we left. I asked how that would help us considering we booked it to have WiFi. That’s when we started to get blown off. I understand it was a holiday weekend, but that’s not how you treat guests when you advertise something and then don’t deliver. I reached out a few times and was finally told they were working on it and they would let me know when it was fixed. It was never fixed and I never heard back from them. My guests were very disappointed as was I. They need to take care of the guests and deliver what they advertise. Other than that, the place was nice and we had a good time. Oh, the beds weren’t comfortable at all.
