Schönbacher Hof with a view of the Hohe Salve

With our detached chalet privacy is guaranteed. You are just a stone's throw from the ski world lift. at a distance. By car, you'll be on the lift in less than a minute. Due to the south orientation you can enjoy sun from sunrise to sunset with a fantastic view of the Hohe Salve and Hopfgarten.

The chalet cat, Bagheera, looks after things from time to time and likes to be fed by our guests. We are therefore unfortunately unable to allow your own pets.

The chalet has a basement for skis, 3 bedrooms with double beds, 1 bathroom, a cozy living room with fireplace and high ceilings and a modern kitchen.

Hopfgarten at the foot of the Hohe Salve is known for the sunniest slopes of the entire SkiWelt. Wide, well maintained slopes are suitable for families and beginners as well as for advanced skiers and ski enthusiasts. A modern 8-seater gondola takes winter sports enthusiasts directly to the summit of the Hohe Salve (1. 829m) and into the middle of the unique ski paradise of the SkiWelt.

The most beautiful mountain in the Tyrolean Unterland offers an impressive panoramic view of the peaks of the Kitzbühel and Zillertal Alps, the Hohe Tauern and the Wilder Kaiser. No less than 70 three-thousanders can be discovered at the unique 360-degree panoramic view. Unique are also the Drehterrasse of the Gipfelalm and the highest pilgrimage church of Austria on the summit of the Hohe Salve.

Our chalet is just a stone's throw from the lift. By car, you'll be on the lift in less than a minute.

Ideal location for family holiday on ski

Very well suited for two adults and three teenagers. The house is spacious and full of exiting details and the owner - Koen - is very friendly and serviceminded. Would love to come back in the summertime!

Cozy Chalet

We loved our stay at Schonbacher Hof, the house is well equipped to make meals, comfy beds and has plenty of seating space to relax after a day of skiing. The gondola and fire pit outside are such a lovely way to spend the evening as well. They have thought of everything.The host, Koen, is very responsive and helpful if you ask for advice. The ski slopes were easily accessed using a free taxi that operates in the area.The chalet cat Bagheera is very lovely. Often wants to come inside and hang out with the guests.

Lovely summer holiday, would love to visit again for winter

We travelled as a family of 3 (me, my wife and our 18 month old) to the Schönbacher late August for our summer holiday. On the day that we travelled from Munich of Hopfgarten, we did so via lake Konigsee (worth a visit if you're in the area). This took longer than expected so we gave the hosts a few hours notice that we would arrive later than expected and they very accommodating of this. Upon arrival we were given a tour of the chalet by the hosts. It was clear immediately that they have spent a huge amount of time improving and refurbishing the property to a very high standard. The ground floor is open plan, with a well equipped kitchen (we cooked every night), large dining area, cosy TV area and central wood burning fire place. The ground floor also has a large panoramic window overlooking the Hohe Salve mountain. Upstairs there are 3 bedrooms and modern bathroom. Outside there are extensive decked seating areas, sun loungers, a dining table, BBQ and sauna/hot tub for winter use. The chalet is located a very short drive from Hopfgarten in a secluded spot next to a small reservoir. There is a road that runs around the chalet and up into the hills but it's not really visible from the chalet and is generally a quiet road. We found plenty to do in the area, taking the Hohe Salve and Kitzbuhel gondolas up for a walk, exploring the local area, travelling to Speicher Zillergrundl (near Mayerhofen), Aurach wildlife park and on 2 wet days Innsbruck and Kufstein.

Ein sehr geschmackvoll und gemütlich eingerichtetes Haus in dem es an nichts gefehlt hat. Die Betten waren sehr bequem. Auch der Außenbereich ist sehr schön gestaltet. Der Kontakt mit den Gastgebern war sehr nett und unkompliziert.

Perfekter Skiurlaub

Wir haben unseren Familienskiurlaub im Schönbacher Hof sehr genossen. Das Haus ist sehr geschmackvoll renoviert und eingerichtet. Drinnen wie draussen alles tipptopp. Die Lage ist perfekt, tolle Aussicht, den ganzen Tag Sonne.und nur 5 min zur Gondel. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Gemütliche Unterkunft mit toller Aussicht & Nähe zum Skilift

Der Schönbacher Hof ist mit sehr viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet und lädt zu gemütlichen Abenden mit Freunden ein. Wir haben zu sechst einen Skiurlaub dort verbracht & waren begeistert. Von der Unterkunft haben wir mit dem Auto nur 5 min zum Skilift gebraucht. Auch ein Supermarkt ist ganz in der Nähe. Wir können die Unterkunft sehr empfehlen - wir kommen jederzeit gerne wieder!

Tolles Haus

Das Haus ist mit viel Liebe eingerichtet worden. Es war alles vorhanden und uns hat es an nichts gefehlt. Die Außenanlage lädt zum entspannen ein und der Ausblick auf die Hohe Salve war toll. Den Kater, von uns liebevoll „ Baggi“ genannt, haben wir direkt ins Herz geschlossen. Kurz gesagt: Es war ein toller Urlaub in einer schönen Umgebung! Danke schön!

Gemütliches Haus mit super Aussicht

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt in dem Haus. Es ist genial eingerichtet und hat alles da was man für einen Urlaub mit 5 Personen so braucht. Schade war das man nicht so einfach wandern gehen konnte da das Haus an einer sehr befahren Straße liegt was man so nicht an den Bildern feststellen kann. Insgesamt war unser Urlaub in diesem Haus ein super Erlebnis an das wir uns noch lange erinnern werden. 🙂

Perfekter Ort für eine Auszeit von der Stadt

Sehr liebevoll restauriertes traditionelles Berghaus. Vermieter hat die Restaurierung selbst übernommen und man merkt in den vielen Details der Ausstattung die perfekte die Symbiose aus Tradition, Komfort und Moderne. Wir kommen definitiv wieder!

Wunderschöner Urlaub in einem wunderschönen Haus

Wir waren im April eine Woche in diesem Traumhaus mit unseren beiden Kindern und waren von Anfang bis zum Ende begeistert! Perfekt ausgestattet mit allem was man benötigt (Waschmaschine, Trockner, Gewürze in der Küche, großen Kühlschrank etc.) Der Hauskater Bagheera ist sehr lieb und gehört einfach zum Haus dazu. Wir haben ihn sehr lieb gewonnen, vor allem unsere Kinder :-) Der Kontakt zum Vermieter war auch sehr herzlich und prima! Wir würden jederzeit wieder hier Urlaub machen!
