About this property

Country Living Minutes From Downtown Prescott, Windmill House & Gunsite, Paulden

Far removed, yet so close... Leave it all behind… The heat, or cold, noise, pollution, people, the hustle and bustle of everyday life… This country, cozy rustic farmhouse offers it all... Cool nights and summer breezes, beautiful mountain views front and back, starry night skies, farm-fresh smells in the air... Sit on the front porch and watch the horses, cattle and pronghorn graze in the open state land. Or sit on the back porch and BBQ while taking in the beautiful mountain views off in the distance or just relax while being entertained watching the backyard chickens scratch for food... Either way we're all about relaxing while enjoying the beautiful surroundings... If the outdoors isn’t your cup of tea, no worries the interior is just as nice… Sit back and watch a movie, stream your favorite YouTube channels, read a book, or make your favorite meal… We’re centrally located in the middle of Chino Valley (2) miles West of Route 89 walk or drive, it’s just a couple of minutes to hiking, biking, shopping and dining.
Lots to do & see, hiking, biking, horseback rides, (GUNSITE shooting range), (THE WINDMILL HOUSE), boat fishing, (2) min to Rt. 89, close to shopping & dining. 20 Min's to downtown Prescott...

NOTE: WE APOLOGIZE FOR THE INCONVENIENCE; WE ARE IMPROVING THE EXTERIOR OF OUR HOME ONLY, SPECIFICALLY THE LANDSCAPING...

WE HAVE LANDSCAPING PROJECTS HAPPENING ALL AROUND OUR (2) ACRE PROPERTY... We have a NEW private front entry gate THAT HAS NOT BEEN INSTALLED YET, COMING SOON... SOME OF THE PICTURES OF THE LANDSCAPING WERE TAKEN PRIOR TO JUNE 2022 AND DO NOT MATCH EXACTLY WHAT YOU SEE POSTED ONLINE... Rest assured, the interior of our home has had some furniture additions and subtractions but still looks the same as in the pictures posted...

Wedding weekend
We had guests from IL with us for the Wedding of my granddaughter at the Windmill house in Chino Valley. I was amazed I could get such a lovely place only 6 minutes away from the venue! It was perfect and so comfortable and homey. Check in and check out we’re so easy. Loved seeing all the antelopes in the fields and of course all the chickens. One would watch me when I had the bathroom window open, lol! Thanks so much Paul and Reshel. Would return in a heartbeat.

About the host

Host profile image
Paul Simari, a REALTOR® with Weichert Realtors-CLA in Prescott, Arizona, hasn’t lived in the city for long. The Brooklyn, New York native, who grew up in New Jersey, moved west in 2016 and didn’t become an agent until April of 2018. Yet in barely four years he has become known locally as “Prescott Paul,” carefully building his personal brand after a career in marketing and advertising. He credits one person for that.

“I found God on October 4, 2015, and it changed my whole life, including my business direction. My mom moved to Arizona about 35 years ago and I came to visit her and got a feel for the lay of the land, and basically I made the leap of faith. Now I love the people, the terrain, the weather … everything,” Paul said. “I went to work for a small local newspaper and was selling advertising to real estate agents. I got feedback from the agents saying ‘Hey, you would make a great REALTOR®’ and after thinking about it for a couple of years I did it. My life, especially my life with God, really started to reform me. I became this person that loved people, that wants to do good, that listens, that goes out of my way to help somebody else. Real estate is a great avenue for that.”

God helped Paul, and now Paul is returning the favor in multiple ways. He averages about $4-5 million in volume annually even though COVID has drastically changed the market. He found a home at this Weichert agency and has been comfortable in the small, family-style since 2019. He’s happy working in Yavapai County, Prescott, Prescott Valley and Chino Valley, an area he called a melting pot of America.

“We have a lot of retirees and a lot of Californians who have been coming to Prescott for a long time. The average home in Prescott is about $800,000, so it’s difficult for first-time buyers to jump in the market at that cost. But they find comfort here for the tax relief, its low property taxes, great outdoors, The Airbnb's, VRBO's and just a great place to live,” Paul said.
