Great house, close to the Creeper Trail near Alvarado. My son loved the tree swing, and we loved watching the deer walk up the driveway each morning. Kitchen was extremely well stocked. Just note that the only shower is downstairs - the upstairs bathroom only has a tub.
Beautiful setting and kitchen/den was perfect for our family gathering of 10. We enjoyed the deck area and watched the lightning bugs into the evening. Very top room was a little too warm to enjoy on this time of year even w AC running, but I would bet could be perfect in the fall time.
It was such a lovely home for our weekend in Virginia. We couldn’t have asked for a nicer home. The views were beautiful and the long drive up to the house was so quaint. We loved out time.
We truly enjoyed our stay at this cabin! It was perfect for our family get together!! We really appreciated the nice touch of fresh flowers on the counter and the history of the home previously being in the owner's family! Great stay!!!
My wife and I stayed here with friends for 4 nights. It’s in a great location and the house is very clean and nice inside and out. I highly recommend the property and would stay here again.
It was a great location. Convenient to Damascus as well as hike the Appalachian trail. Very convenient to both, great views, and everything was wonderful Will probably return for our trip next year!
Private house with great amenities inside. Nice firepit area. I did wish the woods were more accessible. Low growth prevents you from getting into the woods
Wonderful relaxing home and property. Very quiet and peaceful location. Great space for kids and animals. Kitchen well equipped. We had a family gathering for Christmas and the owners had decorated for the holiday, which was a very welcome surprise. Highly recommend!
House was beautiful! We enjoyed it so much! Wish the weather was nicer so we could have enjoyed being outside. Would definitely book this property again when traveling with my kids to Bristol!

My family had a wonderful weekend at this house! The location is beautiful and near lots of things to do. The house had all the amenities we needed and was clean and ready to go upon arrival. If you’re looking to spend time exploring the Virginia Creeper Trail or a little longer trip to the Grayson Highlands or nearby towns, I would recommend this house.
