About this property
Remodeled ocean view home directly above the Sekiu marina. Relaxation, renewal.
Bye Bye Buoy
I have created this home with love and attention to detail, so you can truly enjoy your getaway. I've stocked it with all the necessities, plus some extra surprises like light-up vanity/make-up mirrors in the primary bathroom that defrost and show the current temp, easy to close toilet lids, garbage cans, cabinets, cupboards, and drawers. There's even an extra large dog crate in the primary room for approved service pets. Plus, there are ceiling fans and box fans for late-night white noise or a breeze, a digital photo frame in the living room showcasing past trips of friends, an info book on the kitchen island with suggestions of things to do nearby, an updated copy of fishing regs and tidal charts, and WiFi. With three big TVs, a pool table, board games, and a computer, scanner/printer combo, there's something for everyone.
The kitchen has plenty of dishware, cookware, utensils, and small appliances like a coffee pot, blender, toaster, and air fryer, with seasonings and basic cooking needs. Plus, there's a washer and dryer with extra towels and detergent in the upstairs closet.
The bathrooms are well stocked with plenty of towels and small complimentary soaps and shampoos. There's a great variety of beds, blankets, and pillows for a cozy night's sleep. Plus, each bedroom has closet space with coat hangers.
Outside, there's a covered hot tub with lights, cupholders, and Bluetooth speakers, two BBQ grills, a fire pit/firewood, lounge chairs, and patioThe home looks and feels very modern/boho, and is decorated for the location and an airy, positive vibe. Plus, there's RV parking, hookups, and plenty of boat parking, and an airport across the street from the house.
Come stretch your legs and see places you haven't seen before while staying somewhere amazing!

This is the cleanest Vrbo we have ever stayed in. Lonely location, comfortable beds, and great amenities. It was the perfect getaway. Thank you so much.
We had a wonderful stay at this home! This was our second visit, and we returned because it’s perfect for family gatherings—clean, well stocked, and very comfortable. The host was super responsive, the hot tub and pool table were great, and the views were amazing. We’ll definitely be back!
Amazing! The view from the house is gorgeous! The house itself was so lovely and such a comfortable stay. The fire pit and hot tub were the best bonuses. We highly recommend staying here!

Thank you so much. I appreciate you choosing our home to stay in.
This house was absolutely perfect for our three generation extended family visit to Olympic National Park. The house was cozy and the deck has the most amazing view. Everything was perfect! Great decor and hot tub was wonderful. We can’t wait to visit again!

Beautiful views, great amenities, fantastic communication
We really enjoyed this property with it's beautiful views and great amenities, but what really made it special was the fantastic communication and thoughtfulness of the host. While entirely unobtrusive, the host makes you feel welcomed and as if your comfort really matters. Would highly recommend.
In a word, Amazing! I woke up every morning to the most incredible view of the Strait—endless water, fishing boats drifting by, and eagles soaring overhead. The sunsets were unreal! Beautiful-

Thank you. I’m so glad you were able to see the beauty we see.
Great view and location. Difficulty getting into the home. We had to have the owner open it up remotely and not lock the door when we left.

Thank you for your feedback and for choosing to stay at our property. I’m truly sorry to hear that the keypad issue impacted your experience.
To clarify, there are actually two additional exits available from the home. The downstairs door is accessible and controlled by your personal code, and the second upstairs door also has a working keypad that locks externally. The issue was isolated to the carport door, and once brought to my attention, I offered to open or lock it remotely at any time for your convenience.
I also offered replacement batteries, which are kept on site, should you have preferred to resolve it immediately yourself. However, I completely understand your decision not to use that option. The smart lock app showed 98% battery life prior to your arrival, so I had no indication that the batteries needed changing. I replaced them promptly once I learned of the problem, and the keypad has been functioning normally since.
I’m disappointed that this small hiccup led to a lower rating, especially since safety was a top priority. After asking if the area was safe, you chose to leave the door unlocked rather than use the other available exits or alternatives I provided.
I always strive to be responsive and helpful, and I wish I’d had the opportunity to correct this before it affected your stay. I’m glad you enjoyed the view and location, and I hope you’ll consider staying again so we can provide you with the flawless experience we’re known for.
Warm regards,
Karen Carr

Thank you Wendi. We so appreciated your kindness too.
Wish we could’ve stayed longer. Fabulous views, all the comforts of home, and a bunch of extras that made our stay terrific! Well stocked kitchen, amazing decor, fabulous hot tub! Campfire and s’mores was a sweet treat. Would definitely recommend! Have stayed at 100+ VRBO rentals and this is a top 3 for sure.
The location is very scenic, the house is spacious and provides additional amenities like the hot tub and the game room. The house is also well stock with supplies. We enjoyed our stay! Thank you!
Must be the nicest place in Sekiu! Beautiful views, clean, spacious, nice kitchen and close to Marina. We enjoyed our stay! (If you like to BBQ, bring briquettes as no gas BBQ, but grills on property.)
Communication with rental agent was great!

About the host
Hosted by Karen Carr
23-year Realtor in the Pacific Northwest. Married my dream husband, and we share four beautiful boys. We love the outdoors and love to fish.
Why they chose this property
The home sits above the Sekiu Marina. We fish for Salmon, Halibut, and local bottom fish and love to wade out for Dungeness Crab. Hikes galore and many landmark locations around to explore. It’s always so hard to find a place for the whole family to enjoy and love, let alone room for parking our boat, truck, and RV. This home checked all the boxes for us. So we hope it checks all the boxes for you. In addition to fishing, this area is the most beautiful and offers so many outdoor activities you can’t go wrong.
What makes this property unique
The beds are super cozy, with three smart TVs, full bathrooms, a pool table, and a hot tub. There is also a full RV hookup.
