The most incredible view. Was the highlight of our entire visit. Plenty of space for a large group. Very happy with our stay.

Kirsten, thank you for the kind words — I’m glad our cabin’s view was the highlight and that the space worked well for your stay. We’d love to welcome you back anytime.
Some Beds were pretty small, this place is for 13 actually so plan it accordingly.

Thank you so much for the perfect rating — we're thrilled you and your group enjoyed your stay at Heavenly Heights Lodge!
We appreciate you flagging the bed sizes. HHL is spread across 6 bedrooms, with 3 King beds, 3 Queen beds, and a dedicated bunk room (great for kids or larger groups) — so bed sizes naturally vary by room. We always recommend reviewing the full room-by-room sleeping configuration on the listing page when booking for a bigger group, and we're happy to help with planning sleeping arrangements ahead of arrival too.
Thanks again for the wonderful review — we hope to welcome you back to the mountains soon!
Beautiful house with a downstairs area to entertain kids with game room and theater area. The drive up the mountain was steep with several switchbacks (more difficult with bigger vehicles and those without 4WD or AWD) but the view was worth the drive. House was clean and stocked with a lot of extras. Would definitely book again
We had a wonderful stay! The cabin is gorgeous, and the views are absolutely striking. We had a lot of fun lounging in the beautiful space, playing board games, and enjoying the fire pit. Vik was also very responsive throughout our stay and made sure we were comfortable. We would love to come back again!
The hot tub was a hit with all who used it! The cabin was clean and very spacious. It was decorated beautifully for the holiday season. There were 11 of us and we never felt cramped. The recreation area downstairs was terrific. Our host was very responsive. Burnsville is a sweet small town.
We stayed at Vik's cabin with our extended family (7 adults, and 7 kids). The cabin was a great size for a large group, and so well stocked with kitchen equipment, baby gear, toys/kids books, etc. We all had a wonderful time and Vik was an incredible host!

Stayed here for my sisters bachelorette party and it was fantastic! Beautiful property, spacious living quarters, and the view was phenomenal. From sipping coffee on the balcony to using the hot tub and fireplace at night, this was the perfect girls retreat. It was just close enough to Asheville that we were easily able to pop in for a night out. Would recommend!
Our group of 16 thoroughly enjoyed Heavenly Heights. The cabin in the mountains offers incredible views from the spacious deck and stunning picture windows. The layout was perfect for our group, allowing each family to have their own space. The teens made use of the hot tub, we grilled on the Blackstone, and made gourmet coffee every morning at the extensive coffee bar. The .5 mile gravel road up to the cabin is no joke, especially after a flash storm. One van needed to be pushed through a rough spot and the runners in our group found it challenging to get in a good run, but that’s the trade-off for such a view. HH is close to Ingals, 45 min from Asheville, and about 1.5 hours from Mount Mitchell. We made excursions daily and retreated home to our cabin for dinner together at the huge farmhouse table and wrapped up each night with stargazing from the aforementioned deck. Vik is responsive and truly made every effort to make our stay excellent.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience, Mike. I’m glad your group enjoyed the views, hot tub, coffee bar and stargazing at our cabin. I appreciate your feedback about the gravel road, and we’ll continue monitoring and maintaining it to make arrivals smoother. Looking forward to hosting you all again!
The cabin is beautiful and very spacious. We had 8 people in our group and we had plenty of room, lots of seating and space to spread out. The kitchen is very well stocked, the beds were comfortable, great towels, firewood provided, etc. The view is amazing! It was a wonderful weekend.

Our family of 12 enjoyed a long weekend and it truly was Almost Heaven! From the amazing sunrises and sunsets to the fully appointed mountain cabin, we had an amazing time! Skiing, snowboarding, tubing, and downtown Asheville were all easy driving distances and offered fun for all!Great location and beautiful cabin atop your own mountain! Who could ask for more!
The house was spacious and had everything you could want for cooking. It had a particularly impressive supply of accoutrements for making your favorite morning coffee or tea of choice—perfect for sipping on the balcony and looking at the gorgeous view. The outdoor fire pit with swings was our favorite spot to watch the sunset—so comfortable with space for all. Viv, the host, was super responsive to questions before our stay and we didn’t have any during it, but she made sure to check in with us and make sure even though it was Christmas. Also the house was really nicely decorated for Christmas which we really appreciated! The driveway is no joke—be prepared for a narrow, steep drive, but our minivan made it up and down several times (glad we didn’t have any rain or snow).
I wish I could say more about the property itself, as it looked spectacular online, and lead to my booking. However, due to the catastrophic flooding on the day of our check-in, we were unable to make it to the property. My experience with the host, Vik, is what inclined me to leave a review anyway. He was more than helpful is discussing the possible weather event prior to our departure and travel towards the North Carolina mountains. When those concerns came to fruition, and we our route was compromised, Vik answered the call and helped to attempt to find another route the the property. When this also failed (again, the flooding was catastrophic) he kept in contact and messaged me to make sure we remained safe. Because we were unable to make the trip, Vik worked with VRBO on getting us a refund for the weekend.
I am more than pleased with his graciousness and helpfulness during a stressful event and would not hesitate to book his property again!
