We are small business owners who fell in love with the history of this wonder home and want to share it with you. This property is for the history lover ! Take a step back in time in the beautifully appointed two story colonial. After being built in 1760 as The Stone Tavern, it spent a few years as a stage coach stop from Boston to Keene in the mid 1800s. It was then the Joslyn Tavern. In the mid 1900 it was home to a restaurant and then in the late 1900s a thriving antique store. We are now proud to share it with you. Two comfortable bedrooms on the second floor share a bath with laundry and a first floor bedroom has access to a full bath as well.
From the bee hive oven to the antique stenciled walls ~ we hope you enjoy your stay.
Sit a while in the screened in back porch or sit by the babbling brook.
A large fire pit in by the water is waiting for you to enjoy our cool spring, summer and fall nights. Come see why we are proud to call this home.
