About this property

4 wheeling and snowmobiling heaven

Just outside the quaint western town of Rochford and Moonshine Gulch saloon in the heart of 4 wheeler and snowmobile trails. Wildlife all around surrounded by peaceful national forest. Beautiful Deerfield lake if full of rainbow trout and just down the road. Trailhead to the black hill fun!! The road will be paved by the sturgis motorcycle rally and will be the only paved road between deadwood/sturgis other than the freeway through rapid city.

We lived in this house for a year while we were building our new one and throughly enjoyed the serenity and beauty of of the location.

Why they chose this property

This is an old mining community from the gold rush days, there was a stamp mill just behind the garage that was used for mining gold

What makes this property unique

The property is nestled in one of the highest parts of the black hills and is in the heart of the best 4 wheeling country. The wildlife live in the front and backyard of our home. You will see them multiple times a day. It is 1/2 mile off the newly paved road so it’s very secluded and the neighbors won’t see you or you see the neighbors. The hot tub is fun to enjoy the stars at night.
