About this property
Luxury cabin with private outdoor hot tub and access to resort pool
Experience the serene woodland scenery of the Great Smoky Mountains at this three-bedroom Pigeon Forge cabin with a private hot tub, a beautiful wrap-around deck, a loft game room with pool, ping pong, air hockey and foosball tables, and community access to a seasonal swimming pool.
Tucked away among the treetops and within earshot of the trickling water in Big Bridge Branch, this private home is an elegant take on the classic log cabin. You'll be within short driving distance to Pigeon Forge, Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Dollywood, and central Gatlinburg.
With two-story ceilings, gorgeous wood and stone work, and furnishings that reflect the great outdoors, the living space is open, inviting, and tailor-made for relaxing. Take a seat on the leather sofa to catch up with your loved ones, scroll through the cable channels on the flatscreen TV, and light the seasonal floor-to-ceiling gas fireplace (October 1 to April 1) to enhance the cozy mountain atmosphere. Downstairs you can relax while watching your favorite sports or Nextflix movie on the 110" HD TV.
Begin each morning on a high note by preparing breakfast in the full kitchen, where you'll find stainless steel appliances, natural wood cabinetry, and a large window to let in the breeze. Flip french toast and pancakes on the stovetop, sit down at the kitchen table, and stack the plates in the dishwasher for easy, hassle-free cleanup.
Bring your coffee outside to the wrap-around deck, where you can read the morning paper in a rocking chair, cuddle up with your kids on the porch swing, or watch for deer passing through your neck of the woods. Come lunchtime, there's even a charcoal grill for afternoon barbecues in the shade.
Pull your bathing suits and towels from the private washer/dryer, and beat the summer heat by going swimming in the seasonal community pool (which is open between May 1st and October 1st). Back at the house, you can take a soothing soak in the private hot tub, or head upstairs to the loft for an evening of tournaments at the pool table, ping pong, air hockey, foosball, and the arcade game.
With three King bedrooms each with en-suite full bath, two single rollaways and two pull out couches, Big Bear Retreat will accommodate twelver guests. The first master suite is located on the main floor, offering a king-size bed made from natural logs, a flatscreen TV, and a private bathroom with a tub/shower combination. There is a half-bath on the main floor as well. Head upstairs to discover a second master suite, which features a king-size bed, a flatscreen TV, and a bathroom with a stall shower and jacuzzi tub. Downstairs is the finest Master suite with a King Bed, stacked stone fireplace and jacuzzi tub in the full en-wuite bath. You'll also have two sleeper sofas and two single rollaways for additional sleeping space.

This home was perfect for our family vacation! We really enjoyed the fireplace(s) in the cool mornings and evenings and the kids absolutely loved the Jacuzzi and the game room. The kitchen was well stocked with all the necessary components for preparing meals as needed. This home was close enough to everything for easy commuting, but just far enough away from the Hustle/Bustle of the busy traffic. We will definitely stay here again next time.
Everything was excellent at the cabin. Unfortunately the community pool closed the day after we got there. It was one of the reasons we picked that property as our son was looking forward to swimming.
Overall great stay but the property needed a little minor attention such as light bulbs, etc. Arcade game wasn’t working which was an item we specifically look for in a cabin. But we notified the Owner a few items were addressed that could be easily done.
The house was great for us (4 adults & 3 young kids). Plenty of room, clean, and fun game room for the kids. Close to Pigeon Forge. Loved it.

I'm going to start with the pros of this property. It was in a very nice, quiet location. The floors were clean and everything appeared dust free. My kids LOVED the game room. We specifically booked this property for the 3 king suites and the pool access. This property has so much potential, but unfortunately it definitely has some things that need to be addressed. I e-mailed the property manager and was told someone would be out to address our issues, but no one ever showed our entire stay. The shower floors were gross, coated with a black sticky film and yes, I mean all 3 showers. We ended up wearing crocs to take showers. The main level shower had a clogged drain and we could not use that shower. The 1/2 bath on the main floor is where the laundry room is. There was water dripping from the ceiling and running down the walls, which left this toilet unusable. The upstairs bathroom door could not be closed. The trash cage outside didn't have the proper lock, so a bear got in the trash and we had to clean up that mess. One of my kids reached into get a glass and pulled out one that was broken, we found the rest of the glass inside the dishwasher. The grill and fire pit sit in the yard on a hill. Literally on an angle, def not a safe place for the grill to be used!!! If the clog, shower floors and water problem had been addressed, this property would have gotten 5 stars from me. That water is only going to cause more issues!!! Sad bc it's beautiful otherwise!

Fun in the Smokies!
This was a great cabin which accommodated our family's retreat. We did get up close and personal with a family of bears...so the name held true!
we enjoyed everything about our stay.we arrived an saw where a bear had gotten into the garbage cans. we cleaned that up. the folding doors to the closet downstares but my son took care of that but everything else was perfit
Overall the cabin has everything a family would need to enjoy their stay. Plenty of room for everyone to spread out. Property manager is quick to respond. Cabin was clean.
This cabin was perfect for our group of 7. 3 bedrooms with their own bathrooms was great. The game room was a huge hit with my kids and the location was perfect! My kids are already asking when we can go back.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The pictures don’t even do this cabin justice. It’s super nice and spacious. Would definitely stay here again!
