Activities nearby: In Trassenheide, you'll find Europe's largest butterfly farm – a visit with the kids is worthwhile. Guided tours of the free-flight hall and the adjacent insect museum are offered. The trained staff will show you the special features of the farm, share interesting details, and point out things that would be hidden to the untrained eye. Just a short walk from there, you can discover the "upside-down house." A UBB (Useful German Railways) stop is nearby, allowing you to explore the island from Peenemünde to Świnoujście, so nothing stands in the way of exploring the many sights and activities. The Mediclin Dünenewald Clinic is just a short walk away, and guests will also find a Usedom bike rental station just 10 meters away.
