We had a wonderful stay at Mountain Rest! The home was clean and beautifully decorated.The property is located directly on the lake which offers lovely views, kayaking and swimming.It’s a perfect place to relax and enjoy nature.I highly recommend this property!

This place was so adorable, beautifully decorated. The host thought of everything. She was easy to communicate with. The location was so peaceful and relaxing. Highly recommend. We will stay again when back in the area. It was a great anniversary trip.

It was a last minute booking but was probably one of the best places I’ve stayed when using VRBO! The cabin was beautifully decorated, super cozy, impeccably clean and stocked with everything you’d need to enjoy a fabulous lakeside vacation. Barbie, the host, was absolutely fantastic! Very responsive and even went above and beyond helping me when I needed another place to stay later in the week. I would absolutely recommend this peaceful piece of paradise, and will certainly be back!!

Top 3 BEST places we have ever stayed! Wow!! Bluebird Cottage is fully equipped with everything you want/need for a great stay. Barbie, the host, has thought of EVERY detail. I have learned over time to bring all my own pots/pans/spices if I want to do my own cooking, but this cottage kitchen is fully stocked! I didn't need anything I brought with me. The cottage is SO clean and beautifully decorated. There are cozy nooks all over this property. We enjoyed fishing and kayaking as well. It is such a clean, peacefully little lake.

What an ideal retreat! The natural beauty of the lakeside and surrounding mountains is astounding. The host, Barbie, is one of the best proprietors we’ve ever come across. Her attention to detail, both inside the cottage and as it relates to renters, is second to none!
