Our family had a wonderful stay in this house. The mountain views were spectacular and so peaceful! We loved the friendly dog Duke who visited us every day too! He actually greeted us upon arrival. The house was very clean, bright and comfortable. We had a perfect stay!

This is probably the fifth time I have stayed at the same property. You get a feeling that you are in the mountains while being an easy drive to the parkway. Very nice and I recommend it highly.

This place is beautifully maintained and truly is a paradise. If you’re looking for a really spacious and clean place to stay in Townsend, this is it. Quiet and private, yet close to everything in Townsend including the park. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

Lovely stay

It was a nice place to stay our biggest issue was that only one shower worked which was difficult with 6 family members. Other than that we enjoyed the quiet stay in the mountains.

What an amazing stay! Beautiful property, well kept, excellent communication. Views are breathtaking, very private but a mile from everything you need. Lots of space for family of 5. Kitchen is fully stocked for pots pans, etc. but you will need to bring salt, pepper, cooking oils…Loved it, miss it already will definitely go back!

Everything was fine, great location, nice View of the mountains. Only bad part neighbors has 2 big dogs ( loose )They kept coming to our cabin the whole time.

The property was clean and smelled delightful when we arrived. Directions given made it easy to find. Close enough to town, but far enough out to be peaceful. Will definitely check availability for our next trip.

The listing said that nothing outside of what was mentioned was included and that is 100% accurate. You need everything if you’re planning to cook - salt, pepper, spices, tinfoil, etc. We forgot a hair dryer…had to buy it. Most places I’ve stayed in the past have some supplies and hotel conveniences…not here. The place is beautiful and quiet, but the beds were not comfortable at all. There were 3 TVs…only one remote. We were not there during the day so not the biggest deal but if watching TV, you could only use the 1 with a remote. One of the living spaces is a step down so the floor isn’t even and all doors to outside require using stairs - keep that in mind for elderly or disabled people. We had my elderly parents with us and we did have a mishap. Just things that might be important to others so throwing it out there. I’ll ask more questions before booking a place next time.
