Main bedroom with king size bed and French doors to peaceful backyard. Second bedroom with Queen bed, full bath lots of natural light. Short walk to Deer Park Villa and Mt Tamalpais for miles of hiking and biking. Close proximity to San Francisco, Sonoma and Napa wine country and the beautiful beaches of Marin.
Downtown Fairfax is a flat 8 minute walk through the beautiful neighborhood to delicious restaurants ( Japanese French Italian California cuisine) many pubs and music venues and a multi-screen movie theater. Fairfax boasts one of the best organic grocery stores in the area-GoodEarth, a treat in itself.

Absolutely our favorite rental experience ever! Cozy and comfortable, plus relaxing back garden to sit and enjoy the pond and a glass of wine. Bonus is the easily accessible town and trails. Highly recommend!

Me and 2 girlfriends enjoyed our stay at this cozy home in Fairfax. Our favorite part was being able to walk to town or hiking trails with ease. And enjoying cheese and wine on the deck listening to the bubbling pond. The beds and couches were super comfy. Everyone we passed while walking was super friendly. Liz was quick to respond to a few questions we had before we arrived. Everything was easy once we got there. It was the perfect quiet getaway with yummy restaurants, a bit of shopping, some hiking, a movie when it got hot, and lots of lounging and catching up. Would totally go back!

Great location for exploring Marin County.It was an extra bonus to have off street parking available. Host Elizabeth was very prompt answering my questions. We would definitely book again.
