About this property
The Historic Walton House by RPG
Summary:
✨ The Walton House, built in 1846, is located in the National Historic District of Kennett Square, PA. We are walking distance to downtown Kennett Square and a short drive to local Brandywine Valley points of interest.
The home has been lovingly maintained to reflect its mid 19th century beginnings, while providing a modern, comfortable place to rest while visiting our lovely town. We hope you enjoy the home as much as we do!
The Space:
✨Welcome to The Historic Parlor House – A Timeless Escape in Charming Kennett Square✨
Step into everyday elegance and classic charm at this beautifully restored historic home located at Kennett Square, PA. With three spacious bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, and a chef-worthy kitchen, The Parlor House is a warm blend of vintage character and modern comfort, perfect for families, friend getaways, or remote work retreats.
✨SEAMLESS LIVING✨
Guests will enjoy two private parking spots in the driveway behind the home and enter through a lush garden path lined with pea gravel that leads to the paved patio and welcoming back door.
Step inside and you’re greeted by a bright, airy living room with floor-to-ceiling windows, a plush Restoration Hardware Cloud sofa, and a Samsung Frame TV—ideal for slow mornings, relaxed evenings, or movie nights.
Just beyond, a butler’s pantry adds historic charm and leads to a powder room with an antique vanity and marble sink. From there, step into the kitchen of your dreams—featuring herringbone brick flooring, a full-sized farmhouse sink, prep sink, KitchenAid dishwasher, bright picture windows, a professional Viking range with two ovens and a griddle, commercial-grade hood, Ninja blender, coffee maker, and ample space to cook and gather with loved ones.
Continue into the dining room, where a table set for six (plus four extra chairs) is ready for shared meals, game nights, or celebrations. As you reach the front of the home, the parlor welcomes you to unwind, read, or simply enjoy a quiet evening—where many generations have likely done the same.
