Nestled in the heart of Chester County, the Brandywine Lodge is a colonial and Victorian-themed farmhouse, just minutes from local Amish farms, the Brandywine River, Longwood Gardens, and various local historic sites. Take your stay to the next level by attending one of our offered classes on traditional skills. We offer classes in home canning, sourdough making, plant propagation, kefir, kombucha, and painting. Class lengths and prices are included below. Since classes are offered by availability only, please check with us while booking to make sure the class you'd like to take is offered! Learn together as a family or dress up in our re-enactment attire for an unforgettable family photo!

The Lodge was recently renovated and carefully staged to transport you back in time to the 1800s, while still offering the modern conveniences. Our kitchen is fully stocked with a coffee maker and Keurig, blender, toaster, and microwave. You are welcome to use the washer/dryer at no additional cost. There is also a dedicated workspace with an ethernet plugin, making it a perfect location for remote work or longer stays.

Feed the chickens! The Lodge is attached to a larger working farm where we make our own poultry feed. You can feed the chickens or try your hand at fishing in our fenced pond.

Six stars
Exquisite property and house — more beautiful and spacious than the photos lead on. Tina was so thoughtful and responsive, and she went above and beyond to make our group feel at home. We needed a space to host my sister’s baby shower, and her idyllic home was the perfect setting for our special weekend. Very clean, comfortable, and picture-perfect. We’d give six stars if possible and would love to come back! Thank you Tina :)
