What a wonderful home! This was one of the cleanest properties we have stayed at. It was quiet, and a short walk to the beach. The check-in was smooth, and the owner was very responsive with answering questions. Highly recommend this place if you are searching for a family-friendly vacation in IOP!

I’m so happy you enjoyed your stay. Please come back again. Have a great rest of your summer!
My family and I were extremely pleased with both, the home and the host. The home feels like a home. It’s tastefully decorated, and had all the amenities a person would need. It was a very quick and easy walk to the beach. We will definitely look to book here again in the future.
Everything was as described. Clean, Quiet, the location to beach. We Had brief hiccup with code at checkin, but Martha responded quickly. Beds are comfortable, towels plush and soft. Kitchen dishes, pans, utensils and gas grill were awesome for those cool at home days. Highly recommend and we will hopefully stay again for our next trip. Thanks Martha.

I'm so happy you enjoyed your stay. IOP is a very special place. Martha
Beautiful, well located home, easy access - enough to bike it multiple times - to and from Sullivan's Island, and around the east end of IOP to the Wild Dunes complex. Easy drive to Patriots Point - where we used the Charleston Water Taxi to get to and from Waterfront Park and the SC Aquarium. The home itself is a total gem rain or shine - perfect for our active family of five - well equipped with beach chairs and kiddie wagons for the truly easy walk to the pristine beach. We discovered the stash of jigsaw puzzles which each of us would take turns throughout the week working on. We've been home two days - and I already miss being there.

It makes me very happy that you and your family had such a nice time. Isle of Palms and the Charleston area are truly special. Have a wonderful summer!
Our family thoroughly enjoyed staying at this house. The property is a short walk from the beach and the kitchen was well-stocked. We would stay at this home again in the future.
The charming house was conveniently located just a few minutes’ drive from everything. It was a comfortable stay for a family of six, with enough activities to keep everyone entertained even on a rainy day. The kitchen was fully equipped, making meals a breeze. There was linen plus extra on site, including beach towels, plenty of indoor and outdoor seating for lounging and an accessible garage for storing beach gear. There were beach chairs, umbrellas, an outdoor hose, and a shower, making cleanup after a day at the beach incredibly convenient. The beach was a short walk away, and it was far less crowded than the public access beach if you prefer a quieter beach experience. The neighborhood was peaceful, locals were friendly, minimal traffic and no public parking, it’s not secluded but felt private. Check-in and check-out were very easy. The host was available by email and responses were always timely. I would definitely stay here again on my next trip back, the host and the home were a huge stress reliever!
Overall perfect layout and comfortable setting for a family get-away! The kitchen came with everything we needed- included all amenities that worked perfectly. We appreciate the location too!
Very convenient, comfortable, and exactly as listed!
Aggie’s place was awesome! The location was great, a four minute walk to the beach, close to shopping, and exactly as listed. The layout was perfect for our group of seven. We would definitely stay again!

We lo.ved the house and the location -- great neighborhood and short walk to the beach. The house had such a wonderful family vibe from the owners and we really enjoyed staying at this house. The back deck was perfect for hanging out and outdoor dining!
Love the location. Short walk to the beach and it is at a spot that is almost always uncrowded. House is a great fit for our family. This was our third time there and we hope we can go again!

Great House/Great Location
We enjoyed staying at this lovely home. The location was great. It was only a quick walk to the beach and Isle of Palms Marina where i kept my boat. The house was very clean and we enjoyed the back deck with the pretty trees.

About the host
Hosted by Martha Johnson
Aggie's house has been a joy to my family for over 30 years. In addition to family, many friends and renters have used it and enjoyed it as well. We live in Virginia but love the beach at Isle of Palms, our location and all the low country has to offer, so we travel there as often as we are able.
Why they chose this property
My deceased husband and his son purchased this house originally. After his death I have tried to be a good steward of the property, so that family and friends can continue to enjoy it. Because it is vacant a lot of the time it makes sense to rent it so others can enjoy it as well.
What makes this property unique
Many barrier islands have built up over the years, and Isle of Palms is no exception. Huge houses that sleep 25+ have been built, but I love the charm that our little house provides. It reminds me of the way the island used to be.
