The RiverHouse is a gorgeous, upscale home directly on the Mississippi River with amazing views of the boats going by. It features modern interiors, a gourmet kitchen and four oversized bedrooms each with their own outdoors space and 3.5 baths. You'll love our multiple outdoors balconies with the stunning views of the Mississippi River. Lay in bed and watch the giant ships float by. The kitchen and downstairs living room comes right out of the pages of a design magazine and is a favorite place for our guests to hang out with family and friends. The Riverhouse comes complete with a small, private gym with a Peloton and a refreshing saltwater, heated pool in the backyard perfect for those balmy, summer days. It's a 10 minute, picturesque walk along the river to the ferry which brings you to the French Quarter. Located in Algiers Pt, Nola's 2nd oldest neighborhood, you'll love the peace and quiet after a busy day of sight seeing.

Our guests love the Riverhouse because we're one of very few residential homes in New Orleans with direct views of the Mississippi. We spared no expense on this home & we know you will love it.

This was our second time at the property, having stayed here three years ago. Everything about it is excellent. Extremely clean, very well appointed, luxurious home. The area is safe, and it's easy to drive to the French Quarter, or take the short five minute ferry ride.

A great time!

We had such a great time at the river house! The property is gorgeous and was very spacious for us all to sprawl out after our long travel. Getting around was pretty easy too, with the ferry close by and a bus stop right near the house. Owner was quick to respond the one time I needed her. Overall a 5 star stay and I highly recommend the river house!

Clean, convenient, modern, soooo comfortable and the hosts are nice as pie! Would def recommend for a group looking to explore New Orleans. Close to French Quarter but not too close. It was a great house, and we loved the location. However, we were not expecting continued communication with property owner and the property manager entering the property when we were out. We were in town for a family wedding and it was alittle overbearing.

The house is located in Algers just across the Mississippi from the French quarter. The house is very nice and clean. We used the pool which is small but nice after a warm day. Highly recommend!

This place was great!

For us this was a great house in an excellent location. Quiet, charming neighborhood only a quick ferry ride to over Canal Street and French Quarter. Rivers views from almost every bedroom. Beautiful large kitchen for family cooking. Back yard porch, lounge area and dipping pool for relaxing. Excellent communication from hostess.

This place is perfect for a family!!!!!

We came for Christmas for a surprise trip for our kids and this house did not disappoint!!! Everything was amazing and felt like home, even down to having Mango the kitty cat hang out with us!!!! We loved Mango, the house and the neighborhood!!! Not to mention the ferry was a 10 min walk so you could go to the FQ without your car and we did, it was nice! Thanks to the host for such great communication!!!! We for sure will be back!!!

The home was gorgeous. Due to the weather we had a lot of time to spend in the home and there was never a dull moment. Amazingly Adventurous

The home was absolutely beautiful! The first day we utilized the pool and played games around the pool. My sister in law cooked a huge delicious breakfast in the beautiful kitchen as we hung on the deck and enjoyed the view! Algiers Gem

We had a lovely time staying at this beautiful home. The convenience of being right on the water and a 10 minute walk (on the levy) to the ferry terminal was priceless! 5 minute ferry ride and you're in the French Quarter. Algiers Point is also a special little gem. Lots of beautiful architecture, felt very safe, great local eats! Easy/safe parking on the street too. We would 100% stay here again! My only negative was that the kitchen drawers were a bit messy and chaotic.

Wonderful home for family gatherings

Wonderful home for a family vacation. The house was perfect for our family of 5 and grandparents. Great entertaining and social area. We were all able to eat, play games and gather with pleat of space but not disconnected. The back yard was a bonus after walking around all day. We were able to relax around the pool. Location was wonderful for us. Only a 15 minute drive to uptown/magazine,etc or take the ferry strait to the quarter. Very relaxed area great views of the Mississippi River. Our kids loved walking along the river path and watching the shops go by. Would definitely recommend!

Only drawback was the slow response by the partner owner (who lives in front of the Nola Love) when the generator didn’t kick in when the electricity went out. Said partner is also not very friendly and lacks customer service skills

Serene and Sensational New Orleans Style Vacation Jewel

If you are looking for a pristinely clean, modern, well-stocked, artistically decorated, spacious and New Orleans style option to make your special getaway a phenomenal experience, look no further! This Riveriew Luxury rental provided a PHENOMENAL space that took care of my family, as we prepared for and rested from my daughter's graduation. We planned our daughter's college graduation party from several states away and let me tell you, this spot came through for us! Amy and Enanjay (please excuse the spelling) were accomodating hosts, attentive, responsive and simply the best! There was plenty of space for everyone to relax and we especially enjoyed the cool breeze on the balcony and the private pool! My husband and I highly recommend this beautiful property and will seek out relaxing here again! Thank you again for such a wonderful weekend getaway space.

The pics are real!

My first time in The Big Easy and this house easily anchored my expectations. The aura was gracious and welcoming the moment we arrived. The kitchen was nicely appointed and every room satisfied every occupant. The pool and the lighting at night were absolutely enchanting. The view from the front balcony in the evening was nostalgic. Watching the riverboats, hearing the music and laughter was almost too much to bear. The pure beauty & spirit of the city is unmistakably felt in this home. I suggest that if you clicked on it, that you go ahead and make the reservation. Don’t cheat yourself, TREAT YOURSELF!

STUNNING PROPERTY

The host, Amy was EXCELLENT! She was extremely accommodating with my early check-in request. She was in constant communication during the booking process & up to our check in! There was a keyless lock which made check in & out a breeze!! The neighborhood was very safe & quiet. The HOUSE AND DECOR was ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL!! The photos online really don't do it any justice. The pool illuminated at night, with a color changing pattern ....it was very cool!! Every bedroom had its own balcony which was nice!! The home was literally around the corner from the ferry, which was 7 minute ride across the river to the French Quarter!! We were in town to celebrate my 50th birthday. Amy was so sweet & thoughtful and even left a little Birthday Cake for me!! The Host and the Home truly exceeded our expectations!! We were already trying to book AGAIN, before we even left!!

I was born and raised in New Orleans. I left at 19 for college in California and stayed out there for 22 years. I moved back to Nola in 2014 to raise my daughter closer to family. I can fill you in on recommendations and ideas for making the most of your trip.

Why they chose this property

I custom built this property in 2020. I designed it to be my own dream house and put a lot of love (and sweat) into it. Life changes called me away, and I'm excited I get to share this beautiful space with guests from around the world.

What makes this property unique

What guests tell me they love the best about the Riverhouse is the views and the neighborhood. Algiers Pt is a very special place - an authentic local neighborhood filled with beautiful, historic homes and friendly neighbors. While you have to cross the bridge (or ferry) to get to the main tourist spots, my guests tell me they love being away from the tourist areas, where it's quieter, more authentic and you can live like a local. They also love that I am very intentional about creating an excellent experience for every guest. I am not corporate or run by a property management firm - I'm a real person who loves sharing my beautiful home with travelers.
