Private large room and bathroom with private entrance in beautiful Carmel. Ocean views from the bedroom and deck. Private deck. 20 minutes walk to downtown Carmel and 25 minutes to the beach. Please note that there are steps to the room. The steps are in the side yard, not steep but quite a few steps.

A small refrigerator, microwave in the room. Close to Carmel Mission, Big Sur, Point Lobos, beaches. Attractions are all close! Wifi available.

Perfect for a couple or solo traveler. Conveniently located a few miles from Monterey, Pacific Grove and Pebble Beach. Carmel Valley is close by with wineries and hiking trails to explore. The weather here is beautiful!

Enjoy a cup of coffee on the deck with ocean views before heading out to downtown Carmel or to the beach.

Complimentary coffee pods, 2 water bottles, tea bags.

Shared laundry with cleaning supplies. Iron and ironing board in the laundry area.

If you have physical limitations going up and down the steps, then this may not be the best fit for you.

Parking: You may park on the curbside anywhere except at a spot which is marked as private parking by owner (our immediate neighbor up the hill)

Beautiful calm haven!

This is a Carmel gem. Spacious room with comforts of home — and a luxurious view and feel overall. Seema was a wonderful host and was helpful and easy to communicate with. Very clear and easy check in and out. Close to town and Highway 1, too! I will return for sure.

Ocean-view very clean large bedroom and bathroom

This property is located in the Carmel highlands, very convenient for access to all points on the Monterey Peninsula. Pros: The VRBO part of the property is attached to the main house but in the back with its own entrance and heating/cooling system. There is a wonderful ocean view from all the windows. There is a lovely deck outside the entryway with a table a 2 chairs where we could watch the sea and sunset. The room has a refrigerator, microwave, hot water pot, 2 ceramic mugs, and a coffeemaker. The owner also had two wine glasses and a bottle of wine waiting for us. The entire place was immaculate, and the bathroom has big fluffy towels and bottles of shampoo and body wash in the spotless tub/shower. The bedding was good and the room lighting was adequate for reading. There were a total of three chairs in the room as well as a desk and working window blinds. The owner is friendly and caring, and made sure we could park our car safely away from the construction vehicles working at the house across the street. Cons: For some people, the many steps to get down to the VRBO unit might be too much, especially if carrying heavy luggage. However, we are in our 60's, and it worked out fine for us --We could hear voices and footsteps above us fairly early each morning. - The mattress was too soft for us
