Absolutely wonderful. I grew up in Carmel and this is the way to experience a truly authentic Carmel Valley rustic and artsy cottage feel in a beautiful setting. And owned by a talented CV artist - Desiree!

We loved staying here! A very impressive and well organized collection of books, it was a shame we didn’t have more time to read. Carmel Valley Village was a great home-base for our trip.Would definitely stay here again!

The “apartment” which felt like a warm and welcoming cottage, was simply lovely. Everything was so clear, so welcoming. If you love books, this is amazing. We greatly appreciated her studio tour and her talent, her recommendations for all local questions answered in her resource binder for guests. Lovely time!
