The house and grounds were lovely! The pool was amazing and I loved listening to the babbling brook/waterfall in the morning. It was perfect for our small family getaway.Fair warning - it’s a very wind-y drive. I’d go back again, for sure! My kids loved the play areas outside.

This is such an amazing property. We loved it so much that we did not even want to go and explore the area. The pool, hot tub and the beautiful nature were very serene and relaxing.The open concept kitchen, living room and dining room really united everyone. The hosts were very responsive and gave a lot of great suggestions and ideas on how we could enjoy our stay. Would definitely return when in the area next time.

This is a perfect getaway far, far from city lights. Bring lots of groceries and you never have to leave the property. Pool and hot tub were amazing, outdoor grill and bar were great and the indoor kitchen was a chef’s dream. WiFi was very good too. House was very clean and sheets and towels top of the line. Jet tub, walk in rain forest shower were greatly appreciated. Owners were very responsive to any request. Highly recommend this property

Words nor pictures can describe this beautiful house! You feel a million miles away. The pool was a huge draw for us. The whole pool area was a great spot to relax and eat dinner outside. The treehouses and swings were fun for our kids to play on. The vineyards were beautiful to walk around. The firepit and hot tub made for fun night time activities. The inside of the house is just as lovely, but the outdoor areas were so beautiful, we were hardly inside. Communication with the hosts was easy, the house and grounds were immaculate and every detail was accounted for. Would love to go back someday!

Amazing property!!

This property is beautiful! So many wonderful amenities, we will definitely stay again! Our children enjoyed exploring the landscape and especially the hens.

We were looking for a place to stay that was secluded, private, spacious, and accommodating. This home was the perfect match. Daniel, the owner, was on site and was very friendly. He was very responsive and did his best not to be aeen during our stay. We recommend this home to anyone who enjoys wine, rest/relaxation, and a private getaway.

Idyllic property. Kitchen with every conceivable amenity. Great pool, hot tub, tree houses and grounds. We were only there 3 days and didn’t even fully explore all the grounds. We did have a problem with the Xbox (a priority for the kids), but host was dogged in resolving it, including spending an inordinate amount of time troubleshooting and sending over a local co-host to resolve. A tad remote, but, in my view, worth it for all it provides. The other issue we had when we were there was a relatively nearby forest fire—not that we came close to having to evacuate, but our cars and deck were covered in ash every morning and one of the kids had some minor breathing issues—but, hopefully, that will be fully resolved, so it won’t be an issue when you visit.

The Vineyard Chateau is a beautiful and spacious home with wonderful amenities. My wife and I enjoyed cooking breakfast in the well stocked kitchen before heading out on our sightseeing adventures. The salt water pool was already warm enough (late March) to swim and the outdoor pool bar area kept us from needing to run inside for a cool drink. The beautiful on-site vineyard is a picturesque backdrop right outside the backyard. There is both a smoker and a charcoal grill on-site. We did not use them, but there are also a lot of additional amenities for younger guests, such as two tree houses and a giant trampoline. We really enjoyed the small town nearest to the property (Carmel Valley). We spent most of our time in hiking n Big Sur and sightseeing Monterey. The Vineyard Chateau was perfectly situated for our needs. 10/10 experience and highly recommended. Great amenities, well stocked home and beautiful views.

The absolute nicest house we have ever stayed at!!

This is an above and beyond home. Every detail is meticulous, not ostentatious but lovely, warm and inviting. The bed was the most comfortable ever, the kitchen was insanely equipped with everything you could possibly imagine, the grounds were immaculate, the hot tub was wonderful and it was one big playground for kids to explore and revel in! And the hosts could not have been nicer and more communicative and accommodating! This is definitely a place I want to come back to again and again! I can't say enough god things! I just wish there were enough beds to come back with friends because it's so spacious (I understand that's a Carmel thing, not the host choice.)
