Welcome to the cozy cabin retreat located just a stone's throw from local wine tasting rooms in beautiful Carmel Valley Village. You'll love it's unique style and rustic ambiance, created with attention given to creating a warm and relaxing atmosphere where you can totally unwind. Perfect as a romantic getaway for couples, families or solo adventurers. Sleeps 4 comfortably. Brand new sofa bed in living room, wood stove provides warmth to the whole house, central heat as well. Fully stocked kitchen, dishwasher, brand new stove, microwave, washer & dryer on site. Patio with lovely garden setting. Privacy and wonderful mountain views. Quiet setting, local wildlife includes deer, bunnies, wild turkeys and many bird species.

Beautiful Carmel village countryside

Our family had a wonderful stay here. Very quiet and safe, away from the crowds. Plenty of restaurants in walking distance, for those who defer using the kitchen (which is nicely equipped).

Rustic Cabin

Wonderful cozy cabin within walking distance to wine tasting and restaurants. Kitchen was well equipped and appreciated the convenience and availability of the washer & dryer. Rachelle was a wonderful host she was quick to respond when needed and a pleasure to speak with. Overall great stay and would surely come back.

Rachelle was a great host and very accommodating. The place was extremely clean. The location is close to a bunch of wineries in the Valley and just a short drive to Carmel-by-the-Sea.

Perfect little cottage

Our stay for a wedding at nearby Gardener Ranch (4 min drive!) was perfect. I needed something during my stay and Rachelle bent over backwards to help. She is the best host I’ve ever had! Easy, seamless and perfect little home for the weekend.

Gotta Repeat This Cabin Retreat!

This was our first stay in Carmel Valley, and what a treat this cabin is. Best spot is the outdoor patio. We were outside enjoying the canyons when two eagles soared about 10 feet over our head, wow! The cabin is located in a very quiet neighborhood but the village full of shops and restaurants is within walking distance. The host Rachelle is very friendly and attentive. We highly recommend this cabin, it’s a ten out of ten!

Always enjoy this little cabin

The weather was unseasonably hot during this stay, but we enjoyed ourselves as always. It would be great to have screens on a few more windows during hot days so windows open keeps the bugs out.

A few days among the trees

We never conquered the lock box but everything else was wonderful. THe cabin is peaceful and the trees are beautiful. I have already recommended it to family. Lovely spot and you can tell the host goes out of her way to make you feel 'at home'.

Awesome cabin

The property was very nice and rustic. The cabin was easy to find. It was clean on the inside and had all of the items needed for our stay. The area was very quiet and the scenery was beautiful! If you had no plans on driving then this place is great. Everything you need is within a half mile walking distance (restaurants, markets, wine tastings, etc). The host was extremely nice and communicated well. We definitely would stay again if we come back to the area.

Adorable cabin

As if the walking distance location to Carmel Valley restaurants and the peace and quiet of the area isn't enough, the adorable cabin is chock full of moose, bear, wolf and other animal inspired door that is whimsical and fun. The house itself had everything we needed for our stay, including some treats of the human and canine variety. My dog gave it an enthusiastic paws up!

Return Visit

We enjoyed our return visit and highly recommend this property. The host provided a clean and well appointed cabin that is close to the charming Carmel Valley Village. Garland Ranch Park is close by for nature lovers, and Monterey is half hour away. Oak trees on the property give the impression of being in a forest. Quiet at night. We plan to return soon.

Beautiful Christmas

This was our 4th stay at Rachelle's cabin, our first in the wintertime (two of us, and our dog). It was cold and wet the entire time, but fortunately we found the cabin to be cozy, comfy, and "Christmassy", and the perfect haven from the weather for the holiday. It feels like you have gone over the river and thru the woods when you are there. Everything is as advertised. The kitchen is lovely and well stocked. The living room is roomy, comfortable, with a huge wood stove. The bed is super comfortable, but note that it's a double. Plenty of blankets and pillows. Throughout, a lot of attention has been paid to decor, in a countrified sense. We appreciate this! The only minor quibble was not enough firewood. Though Rachelle was kind enough to bring us some, we were there for four days and had to make a couple of wood runs. Would suggest attention to this in winter, especially for holidays. Overall, the Cabin gave us everything we needed for a Merry Christmas. We would love to come back again.

great location, but...

The location was great for day trips to Monterey, Pacific Grove and Big Sur. The house was clean and well equipped in the kitchen. We had two problems during our stay--a large oak on the property fell on a day we were luckily gone, very close to the house. We came back to workers and chain saws. The back yard was not usable by us or our dogs for the next days and nights of our visit, which had been a major reason we chose this property. Then our last night the power went completely out. We waited to call until the next morning and used flashlights, but none of the phone contacts replied to phone calls or texts. Just by luck a tenant came out to his car and was able to help us locate the fuse box and flip the breaker. The owner apologized for the inconvenience about the fallen tree, but did not respond about the power outage and made no offer to discount our stay.

Wonderful Get Away

The rustic cabin is so much better than the photos, very cute and roomy. We loved cooking in the kitchen and barbequeing on the deck-great grill. Most of our time in the afternoon, we spent on the deck. A lot of shade and a wonderful breeze. Everything was clean and well stocked! Just a short walk was a nice, inexpensive Mexican restaurant. We hope to visit this rustic cabin again!

Little cabin in Carmel Valley

We loved the cozy little cabin. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking. The bed was super comfortable. The dogs liked the backyard to run around in. Lots of treasures in town, the delightful walkable bakery and cute tasting rooms.
