New Hampshire getaway

House was great, picture perfect location and good size for a small family. Only downside was there is no air conditioning in the house and when we stayed it was very warm outside and took a long time for the house to cool down in the evening.

Ski trip to Attitash

House was very clean and a great size for our group of parents w/ 2 college age kids and 2 of their friends. It was super convenient just a few miles to Attitash ski area. Found beds very comfortable and hot tub was clean. We were able to bring our dog which saved money vs a dog sitter.

Lovely winter escape on the Saco

We had such a nice stay after the winter holidays here! The home is exactly as noted, and we found it spacious and clean. My husband and I spent 4 days cooking in the well-stocked kitchen, reading in the sunlight living room, listening to the river as we lounged in the hot tub, and snuggling up in front of the fireplace on chilly nights. Just perfect!

Great location, and space

We really liked this rental. Great location for skiing and for relaxing. The kitchen is a good size, the views of the river and mountains where awesome. The hot tub was a major bonus, however, bring your own towels or you'll need to use the same towels for bathing/showering and the hot tub.

Excellent location

I rented this house both last summer and this summer and had a blast. It’s super open and spacious, with a huge kitchen and deck. Great for groups. Only downside is the hot tub looked like it hadn’t been cleaned since my stay in 2023. That needs to be addressed. Otherwise a 10/10!

Great place, great location

Highly recommend this place. The location is awesome, direct access to a great spot on the river and you can even take a walk down the road and drop into the river and float down to the house. We had so much fun here, and will definitely return. There were plenty of blankets, towels, beach towels, TP for a long weekend, but you may want to bring paper towels with you, since they do not provide these. You'll just have whatever is left on the roll from the last guest.

Perfect 4th of July getaway

This property was the perfect size for my family for a short 4th getaway. We love the Conway NH area and it was nice to be right on the Saco river. The hot tub was a great bonus and I was pleasantly surprised that we were able to access the river through a stairway in the back yard of the property. The back deck was the perfect spot to wind down and relax at night, but also wake up and listen to the river while having a cup of coffee in the morning. Luckily it wasn’t too hot without AC and the fans kept us cool at night. Would definitely stay at this property again!

Fantastic choice for family vacation!

We are a family of 7 (3 generations) on a family vacation. This is a beautiful home in a secluded area. It has loads of space and something for everyone. It has a beautiful loft with a king bed. It has 2 full bathrooms. The main floor has a room with a queen bed. Besides having the usual, complete kitchen, laundry etc, it has many extras lThe lower floor has 4 twin beds ( no bunks) and a game room with a TV, toys and a foosball table. It has an awesome hot tub on the large deck. It also has access to a river with a beach. From the 6 year old to the 76 year old, no one wanted to leave this awesome place!

The location was excellent for our primary purpose of a StoryLand visit and fishing. Wifi was strong and Internet access good. The main house looks good like it may have been painted recently and the place was clean. I liked that the checkout process didn't require a bunch of cleaning. We just stripped the beds, ran the dishwasher and took our the trash. There was a bunch of maintenance that needed to be done. The bedroom on the main floor has a broken shade that cannot be raised or lowered and had a lamp without a shade. The wall lamp on the loft was hanging off the wall. A couple of the casement windows would come off the track when opening. There was flooring missing in part of the basement. Maybe it flooded. There is decking that needs to be secured (sticking up) and some replaced (rotted), and the deck needs staining. The rocking chair in the living area was falling apart. Entryway a bit overgrown grass/weeds. Screen torn badly on slider. There is no air conditioning. We knew this at the time of rental. For this rental, it is a bit more or a problem than some others. One wall is all windows/glass. The opening windows are all casement windows not double-hung, so window fans are not a real option. One bedroom is a loft, so all the heat rises. There are fans provided, but without an all-house fan or window fans, there is no way to pull in the cool night air. I wouldn't rule out another stay, but wish there was more attention to the maintenance issues and cooling.

Great location, but older home that is lacking TLC

My husband and I stayed at this home with our two children, 4 and 7, for a ski vacation in late February. The home is in an ideal location for this type of activity - only 3 minutes to Attitash and less than 20 minutes to Wildcat. And the view of the river from the back deck is very pretty. Unfortunately though, our experience here had a lot more negatives than positives. The master loft area bed is very uncomfortable. We weren't actually able to sleep in it after trying for two nights. There is no actual door on the bathroom upstairs (just a folding shutter) and no door going down to the basement bedroom so privacy and noise is a big issue. Although the home is shown and advertised as having a fireplace, you are not permitted to use it. This was not made clear and should be explained before booking. The back deck had hoses and other outdoor equipment on it and had no been cleared of snow so there was no way to use the space. There is flooring missing downstairs and there was carpeting piled up outside. It looks like they may have recently experienced significant water damage and be in the midst of trying to fix it, but more work is needed. There were lightbulbs out in many places. Overall, while this home is in a great location, there is lot of wear and tear and it doesn't appear to be very well taken care of. I think if some updates were made (e.g., replacing beds and adding doors), this could make a big difference.

The house and location were beautiful and met all my expectations EXCEPT when we arrived the hot tub as advertised was half way empty and dirty with leaves. It took 2.5 days of nagging to get someone to come look at it, only to wait another day for someone to do anything about it. The hot tub was a main feature in choosing this house and my family was very disappointed we only had 1 full day/night with it. The people at vacasa were responsive but did not provide any answers and I did have to chase them around. I mostly got "wait while I check for you." Or "we have notified maintenance" etc. Otherwise, I did love the property and location and would probably even stay again if it was guaranteed that this would be working and/or better communication. There's also no ACs in this house which I did not remember seeing in the original listing.

Great spot

Being able to access the river from the back yard is great. The deck has an amazing view of river. Having minimal stairs to enter and exit the home as well as a bed and bath on the first floor works great if you have elderly/handicap to care for.

We absolutely loved this home.. We went with our 2 collies that had the best time ever. We encountered a situation enroute when our car broke down and had to be towed to a local car dealership. The tow driver was able to deliver us to our destination but then we were unable to rent a car so needed to use the local taxi service. Our checkout was supposed to be on a Wednesday but on Monday, we found out that the car wouldn’t be ready till after that . Luckily, there was no one booked till Friday so we were able to extend our stay. The representative we spoke to was so helpful with this unexpected and unplanned situation. We are so grateful. Also we ended up being able to rent a car till then as well Actually our car was ready Thursday, so we had 2 extras to enjoy the beautiful area and this beautiful property . The only negative issue we had was with the elock .. was very unreliable with unlocking

Family weekend getaway

My family stayed for 2 nights in August. For the most part the house was great, right on the river just as advertised. There are plenty of places for everyone to sit and relax. My only complaint was what appeared to be water damage in the basement. The carpet was ripped out of the sitting room and just thrown outside, it could have been thrown away and not left as an eye sore.
