Wow, this property is really beyond a simple description of words. The 10 acres is situated amongst soaring Redwoods while also maintaining a full day of sun and light. You cant see another house yet are only about 15 minutes from the square and fabulous food and wine. The pool view alone is worth it, at any hour of the day. The house is designed full of light and windows which redefines indoor/outdoor living. The grounds are amazing with wildlife walking through all the time. We could sit in the kitchen/Great Room all day and see new things constantly. Rooms, linens, kitchen stock were all on point. I've stayed in a lot of vacation rentals of high calibur and I would put this up against any. The family did not want to leave and friends were totally blown away. The quietness and sounds of silence are one of a kind. Cheers! Ready to come back soon:)

Sonoma Serenity
Actual property is really nice and accommodations very adequate. However, home is in an extremely remote area which had it's challenges. All four gate codes we were given were wrong and it took numerous calls to the property management folks to get correct. All exterior lighting was out on day one making it extremely challenging to manage. (It was corrected on day two). To keep various lights on, including appliance outlets in the kitchen, it took numerous trips to the fuse box to flip back on. The pool was lovely and helped make up for some discomfort. I would give a much more positive review but for a huge mishap on our last day. There was a power outage starting at 8:00am that lasted until 5:30pm! Absolutely all power was shut down. After some research we learned it was a planned outage that no one informed us of. It was huge inconvenience - particularly for a family member who need to be on line for a critical business event. We couldn't even get the gate open to leave the driveway to get to town. The property managers sent somone up to get the generator on the property started but it took him more than 30 minutes to even locate the generator. Then to start the generator, a code was needed to open the lock box which was also wrong and took forever to get a correct code. Once the correct code was installed the electrician could not get the generator to work. It was beyond frustrating. Sadly, it's this last day's experience ruined out trip.
