The pictures don't do this place justice. Convenient location with a shuttle to Palisades. Perfect accommodations with a great host who is responsive and cares about his property.
We enjoyed staying in this five-star home centrally located at the entrance to Olympic Valley. Everything fun to do in the mountains and on the river is within a few minutes' drive. The unit is well-maintained and has all the room and amenities to make for a very comfortable, relaxing stay for a large family or group of friends.
Not sure how else to describe it other than our entire family LOVED this place. The house is spacious, modern and cozy. And comes will all the amenities one need for a stay in Tahoe. It is hard to find a VRBO where the knives are sharp and the pots and pans are great to cook with, but this one is that exactly. We stayed for a ski trip with 3 generations in our family. So it was really great that we could feel at home here. It made our family time so much more special.
Beautiful home - convenient to both Olympic Village and Tahoe City
We had a great stay. The home was well equipped, and the location was perfect. We were able to walk and ride bikes down onto the Olympic village. The Truckee River is right around the bend. With a bike trail. Tahoe City was a short drive. The upscale, modern home sits in a nice neighborhood. Communication with Matt was great!
Matt and this home are fantastic, truly going above and beyond to accommodate us and make us feel welcome. Great neighborhood with free shuttles to take us to/from the ski slopes. Fully stocked kitchen with top notch appliances. Comfortable beds and tons of entertainment options. Really enjoyed the open space next to house for sledding, building snow people and tons of snowball fights! Quality, comfort, convenience, and fun! Thank you Matt! We will be back!!
This is a spacious, very new property with all the latest appliances and luxuries. Very comfortable, open, and also clean and very well maintained. The location to Pallisades (Squaw Valley) is ideal. We used the free local ride service to get around within Olympic Valley, and Tahoe city is a short drive. The instructions from the property owner were clear and very helpful. My family of 7 would definitely stay here again!
My only challenge was getting access to the garage through an app on my phone due to sometimes poor cell service. When it worked it was great, but it took a few minutes on my first attempt.
Our group went on a guys ski trip and this place was amazing. The home is beautiful and well-built with amazing views and light. The great room is spacious and fun for a group to hang out and enjoy drinks or have a few people cook a meal together. The kitchen is well stocked with supplies and pans which was nice as we had some complicated meals that some guys made. Some things worth noting: - the coffee maker stopped working and the owner overnighted one to us. That's an example of how great the owner was with communication - the home is well built and rooms are fairly soundproofed... we had a couple guys that had to wake up extremely early for calls with Europe and they were able to take those in their room or great room and others' sleep was not disturbed. - for parents, there is a second bedroom with a queen bed next to the master. Kids who need to sleep nearby parents would be comfortable there or a playpen could easily be added for small ones. The bunk bedroom is downstairs... if your kids are put to bed early, then they should not hear any conversations and laughter from upstairs. - the garage was possibly our favorite part... it is HUGE. Every guy's dream. Plus we were able to drive right in with our car carrier since the door and garage are extra tall. Great for getting in and out of the car during a cold or snowy day.
