Once our family’s land, this family property has been developed into a relaxing, rural retreat that has both vintage flair and modern amenities. This charming 5-acre property features expansive outdoor patios and wooden decks, outdoor kitchen and BBQ smoker, a two bedroom house and a one-bedroom pool house suite surrounding a tranquil pool and waterfall spa.

With native landscaping, old growth live oak trees, abundant wildlife including rabbits, deer, raccoons and more, the rustic charm of the setting will inspire you. The property, pool, hot tub and beautiful outdoor spaces makes a great retreat for your friends and family!

Located just west of Buda, this property offers the amenities of Austin, the charm of Buda and the seclusion of 5 acres. To top it off, the host who lives in the back corner of the land, is available to address any concerns. Great experience! The property owner was pleasant and communicated quickly. He was easy to communicate with and helped enjoy our vacation. He gave great recommendations for local restaurants. I had a fantastic stay and would absolutely book this property again. The home was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. We had a fabulous stay at Coffee Grounds! The place was extremely clean, relaxing, and exactly what we needed. Jeff was a wonderful host—very attentive, prompt, and easy to communicate with throughout our visit. Everything was smooth from start to finish. This property has huge potential. The host was wonderful & was quick to respond. The home's interior is tired and dated. Definitely needs new pots / pans. The main furnishings in the living room have definitely seen better days. And the house did not look, feel, smell fresh. I'm happy my extended family got a chance to get together but I had to clean before I got to unwind. I vacuumed and washed all bedding and towels before we used them. There was a storm the day we checked into the home and so for that reason I'm allowing some grace for the pool's cleanliness. However it was apparent that the pool also had not been kept up.

Great place for gathering or beautiful retreat for quiet time alone! So much room to spread out, in the house, decks, pool area. Very relaxing around, and in the pool, loved it! We grilled outside and enjoyed watching TV while cooking. The kitchen had everything we needed for making family meals and the dining room had space for everyone. Our host was very quick to respond to questions and check in was a breeze! We really hated to leave!

we were able to check in a few days prior to our actual check in date and the host was accomodating. We enjoyed the serenity of the pool and hot tub. The house was great with a lot of fun places close by! The pups just loved the yard. The outdoor kitchen was great. The bed in the main bedroom was one of the most comfortable beds ive ever slept on. We will be back again. This place made our vacation special.

I take great pride in being responsive to my guests needs. Since I live on the back portion of the land, I am often readily available. If you need something, let me know. I may not be able to solve every problem, but I will do my very best to make your vacation as enjoyable as possible. If you need dinner, shopping, recreational or any other type recommendations I am happy to share my thoughts.

Why they chose this property

I grew up on acreage in a rural area south of Austin. I am blessed that we have kept this property in the family for decades. As Austin has grown, this rural community has become a thriving suburban area, with easy access to many attractions and conveniences that we could only dream of 40 years ago!

What makes this property unique

This property, located in Buda, Texas, offers the best of all worlds. While Buda continues to grow it maintains the small town charm. We have developed the historic downtown area with shopping and restaurants. We also work to preserve unique festivals that give the town a strong sense of community. Get your Christmas gifts at BudaFest or see if you pup has the chops to win the Buda Wiener Dog Races! But this property offers more than small town charm. As Austin continues to grow, more and more attractions and entertainment opportunities become easily accessible from the property. And to top it off you will be on 5 acres!
