Former Carriage House on Plum Island Massachusetts

Enjoy our renovated former carriage house tucked away off a quaint and quite residential side street on Plum Island, Massachusetts.

Relax on the private deck, read a book, enjoy the sun in the gazebo or toast some marshmallows in the back yard. Just a short walk from the beach or the calm waters of the basin, a small inlet of water off the mouth of the Merrimac River.

Some of our Amenities include:

- 2 Bedrooms equipped with gel memory foam mattresses (perfect for 1 or 2 couples)
- 1 Full Bathroom with walk-in shower
- Air Conditioning ( Split system in the living room + window AC unit in small bedroom )

- Due to the size of our quaint cottage we kindly ask that no more than 4 guests (including children and babies ) stay at our home with each reservation.

As we strive to keep our cottage as clean as possible and allergy free please NO PETS of any kind & NO SMOKING.

Love this Plum Island Cottage!

We are repeat guests at this beautiful cottage. The attention to detail is incredible-the coziness and location make this the perfect hub for vacationing. There are very nice outdoor spaces for R&R and its so peaceful and quiet.

Plum Island outdoor paradise

Lovely 2 bedroom cottage, quiet, well appointed! Perfect for us and occasional family visiting! We used to live here great home away from home!!! Wonderful parking, deck, seating, grill outside!!! Hope to visit again soon!

Plum Island Weekend

We had a wonderful beach stay. The host has a beautifully decorated, very clean and thoughtfully stocked cottage, even better than the photos and description. The cottage is very close to the beach and a short drive to Newburyport for great restaurants and shopping. I would gladly stay again when visiting Plum Island!

Our stay was wonderful. The place was beautifully designed and decorated with every detail just perfect. The host thought of everything we could have needed and the vibe of the cottage and host were so warm and welcoming. The location was safe, quiet and peaceful with great walking in the area. Highly recommend this well-equipped cottage

The two main reasons that I'm not giving 5 stars are: 1) the lack of shade on the property, but that is Plum Island in general; 2) the residential beach that you can walk to from the cottage wasn't nearly as nice as the beaches south in the nature preserve. That being said, I would highly recommend this cottage itself - very well-equipped, and you can tell owners want you to have everything you need.

A very classy place!

Wonderful little house nestled in on Plum Island. Everything is new and works and is well thought out. The hosts left us thoughtful gifts like orange juice and muffins --but the best thing is the place really works! Most kitchens in rentals have glaring inadequacies--this one did not. The design of the place is much more carefully thought out than usual. You won't be disappointed.

Perfect plum island home

My wife and I LOVED our stay. The cottage had everything you could need- you only need to back the clothes you’ll be wearing! We had friends come for the day and there was parking and great outdoor entertainment space. Used the grill almost everynight after picking up delicious food from the market or Newburyport fish co. We were greeted with a welcome basket that was such a nice added touch! Communication with the property manager was flawless!! Nothing but great vibes at this location!!!

Perfect.

Perfect little beach cottage. I recently spent a week in this charmer: a hop, skip, and jump from miles of shoreline along the Atlantic, very clean and quiet, well-stocked kitchen and bath, deck and fire ring to hang about and relax, and hospitable host – super timely with communication and considerately stocked fridge for arrival. It was all I needed. I will definitely be back if they'll have me!
