Are you ready to soak up some sun, sand, and the laid-back 30A lifestyle? Salt Therapy is a perfect couples beach retreat rental that will let you do just that. Salt Therapy is nestled in Cassine Village, a quaint family neighborhood right in the heart of 30-A. The couples carriage house comes with a king-sized bed, a fantastic bathroom and it's own kitchen.

It is a very short stroll to the beach or two pools in the neighborhood, the tennis courts and endless nature trails. You can even hop on one of the two bikes provided to explore all ends of historic 30A.

Was very nice

May have been somewhere in the instructions and I didn’t see, but address led to the main house and Carriage house is on backside of property on a different road. We did not know where to go initially. Once we did, it was no problem.

Pros and cons

The Carriage house was very clean. Due to no dishwasher, which was fine, we hand washed, but there is no stopper to hold water in the sink. My Original booking warned me that there was no washer dryer so I changed to this one. Tried to wash the day before we returned home and washer would not come on. Supposedly the owner is planning to buy a new one. We had no warning, but our laundry was picked up and returned to us within a couple of hours. Wi-Fi was out which meant no tv the last three days. The walk to the beach was great and to Cafe Thirty A.

Love 30A but will not stay here again.

I reached out several times beginning with check-in. The washer did not work & no one ever came to even take a look at it. This was a HUGE inconvenience for washing beach towels. The internet & TV barely worked. The handle in the shower was broken. The kitchen sink was leaking to the floor. The bike chain was broken. All of this was communicated many times. The bike was eventually switched out, AFTER I took it to a bike shop myself. Extra bath towels were dropped off. The entry way was very hard to keep clean, no way to rinse feet before entering. The location was very nice in a quiet street & not too far to bike to Seaside or Old Florida Fish House.

Catfished

Pictures made the place look much better than it was. The place was clean but there is no ventilation so by the time our stay was coming to an end, our stuff all smelled musty. Wet bathing suits stayed wet. We tried to wash our beach towels and the washer didn’t work. Called it in and never heard back. Never felt comfortable walking around without shoes. The kitchen is SO small that 2 of us could hardly fit. Cutting an apple was a challenge as there is NO counter space. We didn’t even attempt a meal. There was an old armoire to put some clothes in and the “closet” was a rack by the entrance that had hangers and cleaning buckets on the bottom. The bathroom was very large, but again it smelled so musty due to no ventilation. A small stroll to the beach was a solid 10-15 minutes. Not easy when trying to carry chairs and a cooler. The bikes- didn’t even touch them! Took one look at the spider webs and the rust and walked down the street to pay $90 to rent 2 bikes for our stay! Loved 30A but won’t be staying here again.
