Welcome to Brevard Basecamp, a centrally located yet tucked away retreat less than half a mile from shopping and dining on Main Street.  Ideal for active families and groups, the comfortable furnishings, spacious floor plan, and proximity to everything Downtown Brevard has to offer make this thoughtfully curated vacation home an excellent choice for your next getaway.

The primary level of the home moves from the spacious entryway into the dining room with a table to seat 7-8 guests.  Off the dining room, you will find the kitchen with gas range and oven, a deluxe Ninja coffee maker for your morning coffee, and all the tools you will need to prepare meals for your group.  The homeowners have thought of everything, even instant hot water at the kitchen sink for those who enjoy morning tea!  The sizable great room is home to ample comfortable seating, gas log fireplace, and a large Roku television for guests to use their own streaming services.  Guests may enjoy the back deck complete with a propane grill, large table, and deluxe seating for 8.

Also on the primary level of this luxury townhome is the master bedroom, complete with a king sized bed, custom lighting, an electric fireplace, and ensuite bathroom with dual sinks, a bath tub, and shower.  You can even see a small stream from the bedroom window!  The second comfortable bedroom is also located on the primary floor of the home and boasts a king sized bed and bathroom with ensuite access.

As you make your way upstairs to the top level of the home, you will be greeted by the 3rd bedroom, complete with a queen sized bed, comfortable seating, and a 3rd ensuite bathroom. The fourth bedroom feels more like a suite-with a queen sized bed, spacious walk in closet, a 4th private bathroom, and a separate nook with a small desk, perfect for reading or knocking out some remote work.

The lower (basement) level of the home, which is also the primary entry point, is home to the laundry room and the spacious one car garage.  A second gravel parking space is provided at the end of the paved driveway.

Brevard Stream View Getaway

Our experience with this property couldn't be better! Highly recommend for many reasons. The four bedrooms with each having a bathroom was perfect for our crew. The cleanliness and quality of furnishings and supplies in the kitchen were the best of any short term rental I have been a part of. The deck with a view of the trees and stream was an extra bonus!!

Everything was as pictured and listed. No complaints at all! We loved the location to walk to downtown Brevard and drive to many wonderful hikes and wineries. We loved that all bedrooms have a bathroom. The fireplace in the early mornings and evening is wonderful. The back deck is lovely. Everything was great, all in working order, clean and a wonderful location. I highly recommend this property.

Everything We Needed!

Seven adults were in town for a family wedding. It was so nice that each bedroom had an ensuite bathroom since we were all getting ready at the same time. The beds were great. The house was clean and well-stocked. Just a comfortable, relaxing home. Loved the deck with a large table that we all fit around. The deck overlooks a small stream. There are only two parking spaces with this house and the street is very narrow and curvy so on-street parking is really not an option. Good location - a couple blocks from downtown and only about ten minutes from Brevard Music College which was the site of the wedding. We would definitely stay again if in the area.

Girls getaway!

This is a great property for a girls weekend getaway! We spent most of our time around the coffee table, talking, laughing, telling stories, and having snacks… And, of course, wine. The patio/deck offered complete privacy with a beautiful view of the woods and the stream. The neighbors were friendly And the house is only a few blocks from downtown. All of the beds were comfortable and the house was well appointed. We cooked all of our meals and spent most of our time at the house because it was so comfortable and spacious. I appreciated the little extras, and we will definitely stay here again when we come to Brevard.

Spacious property in a great location

We loved the massive one car garage perfect for our vehicle & multiple bikes & bike maintenance accessories. Every bedroom was spacious. Closets were oversized. Lots of hangers provided. A great supply of fresh towels for the stay and even laundry detergent so we could wash clothes during our stay. Location was close to the downtown area (walking distance 0.4 miles) & perfect for getting to Pisgah daily for biking. Only downside was the TV in the main room was stuck on CC the whole time & didn’t have access to local live channels via cable connectivity. We aren’t Netflix subscribers & prefer to watch live sports or the big4 programming (NBC, ABC, CBS, FOX). Lots of kitchen supplies,,,, coffee makers & coffee, pantry filled with spices & a fantastic assortment of pots & pans. Loved having a bathroom for each bedroom.

Wonderful Brevard Property

We were a group of five adults (long-time friends). Basecamp was a wonderful place to stay and explore Brevard. Despite cold, rainy weather (we were thankful for the fireplace), we enjoyed the easy access to shops and wonderful bakeries and restaurants. Our favorites were Bracken Bakery, Highland Books, the Art Gallery, and Quixote (amazing upscale Mexican/Spanish food). To help future renters, note that there are stairs from the garage to the house; we found loading and unloading at the top of the driveway to be easier than navigating those stairs with our luggage. The house is well-supplied, very clean, and organized. The kitchen has upgraded appliances and for our coffee and hot chocolate lovers, there is a Keurig and a Ninja coffeemaker (directions are on the hot chocolate tray). The beds are comfortable and we enjoyed having two bedrooms with king beds on the first floor and two bedrooms on the second floor with queen beds. The views are nice, the house is quiet, and it is about a 0.5 mile walk or short drive to Main Street. Highly recommend this house if Brevard is your destination.

72 Silversteen Drive was an OASIS.

72 Silversteen Drive was an OASIS. Highly highly recommended. We went with a family of five, but it can MORE THAN comfortably accommodate eight people. The proximity to the town of Brevard was perfect. There is a concrete driveway / patio area that overlooks a wooded (back) yard with a creek, where our six-year-old son played with the kids next door. The back yard view is very private, and visible from living area and master bedroom, where we saw several white squirrels and enjoyed a foggy, misty morning view. Everything in this home was brand new and very well appointed. There is a smart TV and many board games, etc., and comfortable and ample seating in the living and dining areas. The kitchen has EVERYTHING you could think of, and then some. There is also a grill on the back porch. The garage can accommodate one car very comfortably, and it was so clean, it looked like part of the finished house. We didn't do laundry here, but there was a very new-looking washer & dryer, adjacent to the garage. For the reader, there is a private reading nook in one of the upstairs bedrooms. Every bedroom has its own bathroom, and there are various seating areas throughout the home. The beds are very comfortable. Everyone got a good night's sleep. This was an OUTSTANDING stay.
