Quiet upstairs (with downstairs unit vacant). Great views!! 15 minute drive to Crestone.Very small space (450 square feet as advertised). Double bed. Couch is quite uncomfortable for sleeping. No real table for eating, very small refrigerator, no dishwasher. Probably better for 1 person. Steep stairs to climb up with luggage. But clean and wonderful host.

The photos represented the property well and the beautiful views from the windows and balcony were even more gorgeous in real life! The kitchen was really well stocked. The bed was comfortable. The fans and window air conditioning unit kept the temperature very pleasant. Having the lights left on for my late evening arrival and a little bowl of candy on the side table were wonderfully caring gestures. The host was easy to communicate with and responded to any message I sent very quickly.

beautiful, well provisioned and quiet

My sister & I loved our stay. We were so impressed as we had everything and more provided for us. It was on the far end of the Baca, so the view and solitude was exceptional. The porch for our meals and meditations was the best, looking out across the valley. Would've love an inside table to eat at though.

The best thing about this property is the upstairs porch. Wonderful views of the sunset and so many stars at night! The owner of this property pays a lot of attention to detail. Coffee and filters are provided as well as tea and a little dish of mints when you arrive. There was also a separate electric kettle, which was a nice touch. The place smells brand new and they were individual bottles of shampoo, soap, conditioner, etc. if you’re going to Crestone, stay here if you can!

Superb Location and Perfectly Appointed and Managed

The location and views from the upper rooms are without equal. You will sleep in silence, awake to beauty, and thank your lucky dark-sky stars you chose so wisely. The property manager, Erin, is just as wonderful. I needed her help (due to idiocy on my behalf) - and she came racing to my rescue with a smile on her face and the most genuine, heart-centered concern you can imagine. I highly recommend staying at this property (and hope its available the next time I visit Crestone!).

Cute, quiet and clean!

I appreciated a lot about this upstairs apartment: the light, the deck, the amenities of the mini-kitchen, and addition of an AC unit that really helped during the hot summer days. The manager was incredibly quick to respond to a few issues that came up with the electrical. I would suggest some better ambient lighting, like a floor lamp and/or better and more table lamps. There's one in the bedroom with a switch that even my tiny hands could barely get to under the shade! And I was lucky that the folks in the unit below were very quiet. In all, I really enjoyed my 6 day stay.

Advertised location was’t the correct location

We chose the listing because we were hoping to be in the town of Crestone and spa/whirlpool. Advertised location was’t the correct location on the map and no whirlpool. We didn't realize we were going to be in a development 25 minutes from our group. Clarification of rental wasn’t revealed until rental was completed. That being said, the rental was clean, quiet, and had extra details(coffee, tea, candy, shampoo/conditioner, notebook with details).

Perfect base camp for the great hikes in the Crestone area. I would book again. Only issue is VRBO host messaging with my booking through Expedia. I received emails from VRBO with a link to view messages from the host that took me to a page indicating "No Messages". To see messages access Expedia, Booking Details, Message Host.
