Situated on the world renowned South Platte River. Choose from fly fishing it's gold medal waters, tubing the river, hiking Cheeseman canyon and the Colorado Trail to spending your day at the river house playing bocce ball, horseshoes and corn hole. Cook s'mores in the fire pit as you enjoy the starry night. Enjoy 2 decks, vaulted ceilings, high efficiency wood fireplace and open floor plan large enough to sleep 10 people. 75" tv, speed internet with dish and streaming. Home comes stocked with everything you need.

Our guests had a wonderful stay! The house was very updated and so clean. It accommodated our 5 guests. We’ll definitely come back and reserve this cabin again next year.

Phenomenal views

The house is pretty spacious and accommodating,it is truly equipped with all that you need for your stay. It is located right on the South Platte River drive, so no need to drive up any steep roads. We really enjoyed the views through the big open windows in the main area. It snowed during our stay, which was a plus! We never see that where we come from, Miami Fl.And we were able to go hiking Little Scraggy Peak, which is the closest attraction in Jefferson, County. Overall, it was an incredible experience, thanks Chris once again for renting us your house, we hope to rent it again in the future. Ana and Michael - Thanksgiving 2023

Beautiful Home

Pro: This house is absolutely beautiful and the location is right on the water. The roads are well maintained and it was easy to get to. The wifi was very solid and held strong connections on all phones the entire time. Chris, the host, was amazing. He checked on us and replied right away with any questions we had. He also gave us suggestions for where to rent fishing equipment. Check in and out was the easiest I’ve ever experienced. Con: There is no door to the master suite. There are stairs that lead upstairs so no one can see up there, but it’s completely open. You can literally hear everything happening on the lower level. I could not sleep most nights because of this. If the kids got up and rummaged the fridge or turn the TV on, you can hear everything. I was miserable each night at bed time due to no door. I had to wait until everyone was done on the main level so it would be quiet. I don’t believe the property deserves a low rating in any category whatsoever due to my own personal dislike of the design of the home. Things to note: There is only 1 TV in the entire house. If you have a family who likes TV’s you will only have one. Also, the heating and cooling is not a central unit with a thermostat. I do believe some information to that effect may be listed in the description. We must have simply overlooked it when booking.
