Cabin was as represented in the listing and very clean!Showers were hot with good water flow. Our stay was for a wedding in a nearby town, so we did not explore the area very much. Several businesses were closed because we were there in the off-season, but the autumn leaves were pretty.

Gorgeous house in the woods, absolutely perfect for what we needed. Extremely clean and new, communication from the host was perfect. We were sad that we didn't stay longer. Highly recommend this property.

The cabin was easy to find, extremely clean, beautifully organized, and all-in-all a wonderful experience. I would particularly recommend it for parents of young children, since it was equipped with a children's bedroom with twin beds, a baby bath, and a child's chair.I stayed here with my sister, my mother, and my six-year-old son, and the experience was completely enjoyable. The location is very beautiful and comfortable. I will note that the closest town is apparently mostly Orthodox Jewish so if you're here on the weekend, there's only one grocery store that's open, but it's not a bad drive to other towns. The bear theme was really cute and everything was easy to use, including the internet, television, and kitchenware.Highly recommend--we'd stay here again if we come to the Catskills again!

Our stay at the Bear Den was so enjoyable due to the attention to detail Matt has given to his property. The living space was clean, new, and supplied everything we needed for our 2 night stay. Mike responded quickly to my questions about places to eat in the area, distances to places, and general information. The fireplace was perfect the night we were soaked at a concert in Bethel Woods. The neighborhood was nice and quiet. We are planning to return when we go to our next concert.

Bear cabin

We have stayed in the area on multiple occasions and found Matt’s cottage spotless, furnished beautifully and very welcoming. I hope to stay there again on future visits.

Great Escape from the City

We had a great stay. The cabin was excellent, exactly as advertised with a perfect amount of space for a quick getaway. Clean and comfortable, it was a great base to explore the area over a long holiday weekend. Matt was available and happy to answer any questions. Definitely recommend and would stay again.

Quiet and cozy!

Our stay was great! It was located in a small quiet neighborhood that was close to many small towns. The accessible bathrooms/walkin showers were perfect for my elderly mother. Matt was kind enough to check in with us to make sure we had everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again!

Perfect weekend getaway

I rented this house for a weekend getaway for a wedding in the area. Everything we could possibly need was supplied by the hosts. Plenty of nearby shops to stock the kitchen with anything you could think of for your stay. Would highly recommend booking this place. Hope to stay there again sometime. Absolutely peaceful getaway from the city
