NEW REMODEL FOR 2019 including ALL NEW CABINETS AND GRANITE COUNTERTOPS. Check out our new photos. Also new flooring and carpeting throughout house and new tub and shower in downstairs bath. Tall Oaks Bay is A lovely 2200sq.ft. home plus extra tv and game room. Site is on an acre of oak trees on Jonathon Creek which is part of Kentucky Lake. Four large bedrooms and two large baths completely furnished home with spacious living room with fireplace and wall of windows overlooking the Jonathon Creek area of Kentucky Lake. Enclosed sunroom overlooks the lake. Basement level has extra TV and living area as well as game tables. Just steps to the lake and dock with patio overlooking the lake. We are located in Western Kentucky. We are just 10 miles form The Land Between the Lakes National Recreation Area. LBL offers 170,000 acres of rolling hills, oak forests and 300 miles of undeveloped shoreline wrapped by nearly a quarter million acres of water
Bedrooms sleep up to 10 with 3 queen beds, 1 double beds and 4 twin beds. Two full baths with combination shower and tub. Towels and linens provided. Gas grill and indoor fireplace.
Kitchen provided with all pots and pans, dishwasher crock pot, mixer, toaster, blender and more. Washer and dryer as well as 3 TV are provided.



Amenities include: Fishing and Boat dock, large patio overlooking the lake, outside propane grill, ceiling fans, air conditioning, washer, dryer, dish washer, TV, DVD player, cable, FREE INTERNET, fully equipped kitchen, all bed linens and towes.l Master bedroom has canapé queen size bed, second bedroom fun butterfly theme with queen size bed, third bedroom has 2 twin beds and a double bed and fourth bedroom has a fisherman's theme, twin bed and queen bed and is very large, Excellent free boat ramp within ten minutes, great fishing, water sports, and outdoor recreation area. Circle driveway with parking for several cars, trailers and boats. House at the end of the road is very private with no traffic.

Activies in the area include, 3 state parks, Kentucky Dam, Kentucky Opry, Players Casino, Golf, Horseback riding, National Quilters Museum, Outlet Mall, Antiqueing, Crafts, Local Festivals, National Boy Scout Museum and Beachaven Winery.

We had a great stay! Secluded, clean, comfortable, nice view of lake. We come once a year to this area to go to turkey bay off road park, very close to that so it was convenient. We will book again!

We all really enjoyed the cabin. Lake views were perfect. Pet friendly for our grand dog. My only wish is that the patio had been cleaned. ‘Everything else was wonderful

Memorial Weekend on KY Lake

We love this area of KY Lake! The location was perfect for us to come off the lake and eat at Belews & Dinner Bell both 5 min away! Boat dock was very nice. House was very cozy & comfortable for our family. We definitely want to book it again.

The property with the attached dock was perfect for us. The house was big enough for us all.

The property and house was perfect for us. I cooked breakfast and dinner everyday we were there and the accommodations to cook was beyond happy. The view from the back deck and fire pit was beautiful. We will definitely be back. ❤️

Lots of space

The pictures do show all the rooms but they seemed so much bigger once there which was great for the larger group we had. Dock was great, although a little steeper to get down then we first thought, absolutely manageable. And directions to property and boat launch were great

Kentucky Lakes Vacation Home

The property is covered with huge oak trees so the back of the house all the way to the covered dock is shaded almost all day. Combine this with a breeze that blew all but one day during our stay, and the back patio overlooking the lake was a great place to the afternoon and evenings, when we weren’t on the lake. The house was spacious with a screened porch, a new kitchen and comfortable beds with plenty of sleeping room for kids. The location of the house is close to marinas, boat ramps, restaurants and activities. I give this property 4 1/2 stars overall.

We had a great time but were an older family group that found the steps and stairs a bit hard to manage and there seemed to be a shortage of electrical outlets. The outside was a bit neglected compared to the neighborhood. But there was nothing we couldn’t handle.

The house had everything you need-kitchen supplies, blankets, etc. Would suggest guests bring bottled water. "Game room" is misleading. House was clean and had comfortable beds and seating. Plenty of space for large group, we only had 3 adults. My dog enjoyed the big backyard. Upstairs was somewhat difficult to regulate temperature with downstairs. Great water view from livingroom. Location is great. Compared to others with LOTS of stairs, here the waterfront was fairly easy to reach. Great for relaxing and viewing beautiful sunsets. Location is somewhat secluded for privacy but close enough for 20-30 minute drive to sightsee and go out to dinner. Outdoor lighting made outside easy to navigate at night. We loved the view and the firepit to visit and cook hotdogs. Firepit location was slightly difficult as it is on a hill - would have been better on flat surface a bit closer but we managed to drag down chairs. Bugs were bad as expected, especially on dock/water, but citronella candles seemed to work somewhat. We also used BBQ on front porch..would have liked it on back porch where we made our nightly ending spot.Next trip will not be in October. We had a bit of stormy weather and we were unable to rent a boat. A lot of places had limited hours or were closed since October is considered off season when my research indicated it was November.Overall, a very nice place to visit. Recommended for others. Thank you for a relaxing vacation!

Couldn't have asked for a better vacation

This was an adorable property on the lake at the end of a road, so no traffic. The house was fully equipped (the kitchen better equipped than my own)! There was plenty of room for our family of six. The lake was beautiful and the swimming was great. Perfect water temperature and we were surprised at the minimal boating taking place. We expected a lot more boat traffic. The house had a bag set that we enjoyed each evening, along with the firepit and back patio with beautiful views of the sunset. The back patio was large and covered and we were all able to relax there and grill when we needed shade or cover. We honestly didn't want to leave! The owners were extremely responsive and easy to communicate.

Over all a good place, just need some fine tuning. Air conditioner upstairs needs a real good cleaning out.Both were discussing and that’s the air we were breathing. Need a better walk way to the dock, it’s very easy to trip going down. No walkway of any kind. This would be to the next level if someone would just take some time to clean it up some.

Family Summer Vacation

My Son and his family work at the camp next door so this house is perfect for our family vacation. The Boat dock is perfect for our boat. I fish in the morning and the family goes boating in the afternoon. The house is also perfect. My Daughter and her family use the up stairs and my wife and I stay in the bedroom on the main floor. We do not use the basement but as the grandkids get older we might start using it. The bugs are bad around the lake so in the summer time we do not use the patio much but we have used it in the fall on past visits. This house is a good choice for family vacations. The fish cleaning table really got used this year and the outdoor cooking area it a good place to fry fish. Thank you for use of your house!

Owners were easy to work with to book. Not real quick to respond but easy. Good price. The home was a great spot, super clean on the inside. The kitchen was the most stocked kitchen I’ve ever rented. But…. The outside had not been cleaned up since probably last rental in the fall. There was a winters long debri under the carport . I simple blower would have taken care of that. The back patio , the main attraction was horrible. There was a huge amount of winter build up, all patio furniture was very dirty, all tossed about. Weeds growing through the brick. We had to sweep all the debri off the best we could and hose off all the furniture. Disappointing. I mentioned this to the owner, they blew it off as recent storms, but that was an all winter build up. Also… there was no working internet. They had sent a new router that was there when we arrived. My husband hooked it up but that did not fix the issue. I messaged the owner and let them know. I told them I would call the next morning. I called the next morning, no answer , I left a message. After lunch I called again. I NEVER received a phone call about the issue. The property grounds need ALOT of work cosmetically . The fire wood was all rotten, by years. Up keep outside has been super minimal. This is a great rental, great spot. The owners just to be better responders and do some grounds landscaping

Beautiful view

Beautiful well kept house with up to date amenities. Plenty of spacious room throughout the house with spacious parking for fishing rigs. Would definitely look to rent again in the future.

The perfect private home & dock for us

We had 2 adults and 4 teens, so this property fit us well. Just 4 nights. The cove is perfect for kayaking, tubing and knee boarding. Dollar General was 10 minutes away in either direction for any needs. Good restaurants we dined at was Los Amigos & Belew's Dairy Bar (a must for shake lovers, we went twice!) Land between the Lakes is close, we drove thru the Bison reserve, fun to see those. All is all this quick getaway is just what we needed to unplug and relax. Only complaint I heard was a couple of the upstairs bed were a bit hard. I would recommend bringing a couple extra mattress foams if using all upstairs beds. The house was clean and stocked with all kitchen utensils and soaps. We were only in it to eat and sleep. We spent most of our days on the water. Not a lot of boat traffic in that cove which was ideal. The deep fishing was not great for my husband that weekend. A few drum & gar. Teens had more luck just dropping a line off the dock. The decor in the house is a bit dated, but it reminded me of my grandma's, felt homey and comfortable.

Perfect for our annual family fishing tirp

We've been visiting Kentucky Lake for several years, and with our family expanding, we decided to book a larger home to accomodate us this year. This property was percet for us. Some of the things we loved: -Very well stocked. Everything from firewood, pots & pans, trash bags, laundry/dish detergent, toilet paper, tin foil, zip lock bags, utensils, etc. We were really pleased with how little we had to obtain from the store when we arrived. -The private, covered dock fit our fishing boat perfectly. There is even an cabinet on the dock to store your lifejackets, fishing poles, supplies, etc. Really convenient! -The beds were more comfortable than we antiicipated! -We had filled up both trash bins before the scheduled pick up date, and the owners made arrangements to have that picked up for us very promptly. -The house is stocked with several games, including cards and a bags set! -Kentucky can get steamy mid-July, but the back yard is very well shaded and has beautiful views. -Perfect for fishing, swiming, or any water activities! A few things to consider: -We would have loved to have a large outdoor table on the patio to eat at. Bring a few folding tables if you're considering booking and spending a lot of time outside. The patio is large enough to accomodate it. -Not all of the bedroom doors lock in the home, including a very tricky bathroom door lock. -The bathroom toilet on the upstairs level is not made for tall humans. If you're over 6 ft, it will feel like it was made for a potty training a toddler. -The family room couch has seen better days, and is falling apart at the seams. We didn't have to worry about this too much, since the majority of our time was spent outside. Our biggest concern from this property was that there is not a handrail down the steps leading out to the porch. It's very hazardous, and my father in law took a bad tumble down them. In the future we would like to see one placed there for safety reasons. My guess is that it is very close to Kentucky's building code for handrails. All in all, this home gave us everything we needed and wanted for our trip, and are really appreciative to the owners for being so accomodating and welcoming. We hope to be back!

Wonderful Vacation

The property was just as described. It is a centralized location so we were able to make short trips when we weren't fishing swimming and relaxing at the house. We felt right at home.

Summer Lake Fun

This is a wonderful house. We tied up a pontoon boat to the dock. Played games on the back porch and sat by the fire at night. Everybody loved the stay, the the house and the property.

Our home has been a great place to spend some time together. We have been renting our homes to travelers for over 25 years.

Why they chose this property

We have been visiting the Lakes area for over 30 years. This is our second home on Kentucky Lake. We love the area because it is quiet with great fishing. We can just sit on the patio and watch the sun set or Great Blue Herons land or our dock. It has year around water at the dock.

What makes this property unique

Our home is close to the Land Beteen the Lakes Recreation Area. You can golf at Kentucky Dam State Park or at Boots Randolf Golf Course in Barkely Dam State Park. We are on a quiet part of the lake and a quiet neighborhood. We have the best location for sunsets. We are thrilled with our new remodeled kitchen, upgraded floors and carpet.
