Country House

Great spot one of the nicest spots I’ve stayed in. 20 minutes from Richmond great restaurants in the area. Super clean right near the river James. If we ever go back to that area again, I will definitely look to stay at this house.

Family Get Away

This was the perfect place for us and the kids to get away to! The house and surrounding property were absolutely beautiful. Tons of space for the kids to run and play, a huge porch to relax on, and the beds were all so comfortable nobody had any issue sleeping. Will absolutely be back!

Fabulous Retreat

We stayed at Cozy Cabin for my son's graduation weekend. We loved using the bikes to get to the marina and pond. The front porch and back deck provided great hangout spots. The hosts were very accomodating.

Modern Cabin on James River

The cabin worked just great for our family get-together. The double garage made unloading our van in the pouring rain a non issue. Kitchen and adjoining large eating table allowed us all to be together during meal prep. Cabin is literally located steps from Civil War earthworks for military history buffs. A quiet and secluded place for a get-away but within 20 min to restaurants, museums, and entertainment in Richmond.

Fantastic cabin very close to town and boat ramps.Not 1 complaint ! The place is amazing with a pond and a large property. Interior has amazing woodwork. Very quiet, private, and secure.Gated entrance. We had 4 trucks with boats attached and fit in the driveway. Well lit areas for entertaining or in our case rigging rods and reels for fishing. This is a special place if you are coming to fish the James River. Just an all around perfect place. We will be back again next year !!

This was a lovely retreat. We were in town for a family reunion in Richmond. The drive into town is about 25 minutes, but beautifully scenic and peaceful--we saw one of the most beautiful sunsets any of us had ever seen on our first night! The property is clean and well appointed. It has two bedrooms on the first floor which was perfect for the grandparents and great-grandparent in our group. Upstairs is another bedroom with an adorable loft space, furnished with two hammock swings, a major hit with our 7 year old daughter. The outdoor space was dreamy, especially in the morning with coffee, looking over beautiful serene farmland. We thorough enjoyed our stay and should we find ourselves back in the Richmond area, we could stay again!

Host interaction and amenities could be improved. Large kitchen with extra seating was great. However, only 4 place settings available so we had to purchase our own. Most cookware was greasy/dirty - we had to rewash them. Also, no toilet paper, window blinds were mostly inoperable, lighting was grossly insufficient, and LED lights do not make for "Cozy". Ever.
