Great Getaway at the Beach

We loved Tucked Away! It is the perfect place to relax and unwind. My husband and I stayed for the week and everything was perfect. The house is well maintained and very accommodating. I love to cook and we prepared fresh seafood meals during the week. The kitchen has every appliance and utensil needed to prepare a chef’s worthy meal. The screened in porch was perfect to have meals or relax and enjoy the view. We love Alligator Point and will definitely be back to Tucked Away.

Fantastic Beach House

Tucked Away is a beautiful beach house with all the amenities. It is located on a secluded beach steps from the large screened in back porch. Nancy is an awesome host who thinks of every little detail. We wouldn’t stay anywhere else! Looking forward to our next visit!

Beautiful location

We really enjoyed the privacy of the home. The home was very nice and clean. The view was spectacular!! The host replied to our questions quickly. The area restaurants were great! Overall it was a great stay!

Beautiful, quiet, clean, and peaceful! Tucked away is a great getaway for wildlife watching, fishing, eating seafood, and sleeping! All the amenities tucked in the pines with the gulf only yards away!

Beautiful house! Ocean front doesn't get any closer than this. Fantastic views from the large screened in porch. We will definitely make a return trip this house.

Beautiful Vacation

This is a beautiful home with everything you need for a peaceful, beautiful vacation. The house is very clean and has everything you would need. Loved that each bedroom had their own bathroom. The outdoor shower was wonderful! The view is breath taking. The beach is a few steps out the back door. Beautiful quiet, private beach. We enjoyed just sitting back and enjoying the views. Especially the dolphins swimming by! The host was wonderful and very easy to contact. I would 100%+ recommend this home and hope to be back again!

Perfect Location!

This property was perfect for us! We were looking for a beautiful location for a relaxing week! The house is well-appointed with everything you might need for cooking and then some. Nancy kindly stocks it with all the necessities, TP, paper towels, hand soap dish soap, etc. There was also everything you would want for the beach, umbrellas, chairs, towels, sand toys and boogie boards. We enjoyed watching dolphins swimming while having our coffee on the huge screened in porch, sitting on the beach and searching for seashells. If you are looking for something away from from all the crowds, this is the place for you!

The Perfect Vacation Beach House Rental

Tucked Away is the perfect vacation beach house rental. Beautifully decorated with first class furnishings and appliances, it is ideal for one or two couples. The best feature of the home is the huge fully screened-in porch across the back. We ate most of our meals there and spent many hours listening to the waves and watching the abundance of wildlife right outside the door including shorebirds, pelicans, songbirds, and dolphins. A bonus was being able to see the numerous sand crabs scurrying about the beach after dark. The instructions for check-in and the use of the house were clear and straightforward and didn’t require asking any questions. Although there are neighboring houses, the situation of the house among the trees gave us a feeling of welcome isolation. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Tucked Away and plan to return there in the future.

Great Location / Crazy Cold Weather

Great Location but not good time of year to visit. Hopefully we will get to stay again when warmer. Crazy cold weather caused a lot of issues with our stay. Temperature in the house dropped so cold that heat could not warm it up. I brought an extra space heater for sitting outside which I got up in the middle of the night to bring inside. They had two small heaters but I had put one in the outside laundry room. So, unfortunately due to weather we had several issues. Hot water was frozen for two days (pipes are not wrapped) When they thawed Christmas day pipes were busted. My husband tried and tried again to get hot water turned off and finally did but quite an ordeal. Plumber finally came Christmas late evening and hubby showed him all the busted pipes. Unfortunately we had to leave the next morning. Thankful for a shower finally. Weather improved that day but too late for us. Beds were very small. Seemed to be double and we are used to king so slept in separate beds. It really is a cute house and I really hope we get to try again in warmer weather. Host did respond quickly but could only do so much with everyone dealing with weather issues.

Alligator point vacation

We drive a little further down the coast for the privacy and serenity that Alligator Point offers. “Tucked Away” was the perfect getaway for that. Loved the shade of the pines and the proximity to the beach. My only wish is that one of the bedrooms offered a king size bed. Would definitely rent again!

Michigan December Get-Away

Immaculate. Everything works and is convenient. Great location. Large screened porch for eating, etc. Great location for Gulf birding and side trips. Was visited by four adult eagles and two juveniles plus Great Horned Owl pair. Residents. Multiple landings in property and adjacent trees. Many good closeup photos. Multiple shore birds. Dolphins feed near shore. Short drive to Bald Point. One hour to St. Mark's.
