The waterfall view was amazing! We enjoyed the huge deck, downstairs entertainment room, hot tub, all of it. Even on a rainy day, the big glass windows were wonderful to sit and enjoy the scenery. Quiet location, but surrounded by tons of things to do.
We had a fantastic time staying here! It was a perfect location to celebrate my mom's 80th birthday. We had plenty of space to connect and relax. The location was beautiful with an amazing view of the waterfall. Thank you so much for a beautiful accomodation that made our vacation so special! :)
We stayed in this house with our adult children and it was perfect. Plenty of space for everyone inside and outside with a well stocked kitchen for family meals. Enjoyed the hot tub and fireplace after long hikes. Felt secluded but was convenient to hikes and restaurants. Owner was responsive and easy to work with. Oh, and the view was amazing. Highly recommend!
Ron was A+ host and made us feel right at home for a great weekend. He was always available, house was very clean, and great home for larger families and weekend getaways.
We had a really nice time staying here. It is large enough to spread out and have privacy or to be together and look at the beautiful view of the waterfall from the main room. The kitchen was well stocked and the beds were comfortable. Thank you Ron.
This cabin was perfect for our family's Thanksgiving holiday. There were 11 of us and we actually had more beds than people! Our favorite things about the cabin were the gorgeous view, the stocked kitchen, the fire pit (for smores!), the hot tub, and the poker table downstairs. Everything is just as described and pictured in the listing. We definitely give this house a 10/10!
Two living areas, an outdoor fireplace and a hot tub made this a perfect house for adults and teenagers to enjoy the beautiful fall day and a view of the falls while catching some college football. Kitchen well stocked, beds very comfortable and the world's largest deck with lots of tables and chairs.
Fabulous property with a beautiful view of Toxaway falls.
Gorgeous property as well as the view. Lots of fun amenities like a fireplace and a Jacuzzi.
This is our second year renting this property on the same weekend. It is guaranteed to please.
The house and location were both great. We had 3 generations there and it worked out very well lower floor was perfect for our night owls without disturbing the others. Beautiful setting to enjoy for any not interested in the many activities available nearby. Host was very helpful. Would definitely rent again.
This is a home that my amily (grown kids and grand-kids) would love to return to. Superb view, lots of outdoor space, perfectly furnished, and the owner could not have been more accommodating.
100% positive experience
Our group of 9 thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was large enough to comfortably accommodate everyone. Beds were very comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked, and outside areas were outstanding. There were plenty of outside seating areas to eat and enjoy the fantastic scenery. We loved sitting under the stars at the fire pit, listening to great music and enjoying good conversation. The house was very clean. We’d love to return for another hiking weekend next fall.
The house worked really well for our family. It rained on us most of our stay. The covered deck and foosball table were really helpful in entertaining grandkids. Plenty of room for everyone. The outdoor fireplace was lovely and the kids enjoyed s’mores. The house is well equipped for basic kitchen needs.
A spectacular home with an amazing view. Very comfortable guest areas and well equipped kitchen. Amazing view and great outdoor fireplace are just a few of the great features of this mountain home. Ron is an awesome host. Very informative and always available by cell phone or text. We hiked right out the back door, and the access road was not bad- a minivan could navigate it easily. I hope we can come back for another trip in summer. Thank you!
We truly enjoyed your Lake Toxaway home!! It was very well designed, constructed , decorated and had the most beautiful views of the falls! Your kitchen was amazing and well stocked with cookware and utensils. The lower den/family room and gas fireplace hearth is where spent most of our time and it was wonderful. We ventured out to Gorges State Park, gem mining in Brevard and Moonshine Mountain Snow Tubing that all were great adventures. The home is very roomy for large families and lots of places to sneak away for a nap . The outdoor fire pit and hot tub were very easy to access. Highly reccommended!
We've stayed in several mountain homes and cabins. Ron's is among the finest. The home is well-appointed, spacious, and well-equipped for large families and groups. It's in impeccable condition, including appliances and furnishings. Access is a short distance from the main area highway, yet the location is just "hidden" enough to make it very private. The views from the home's large windows include a beautiful cascading waterfall. Communication with Ron was instant; he even checked on us after we arrived to make sure everything exceeded our expectations (which they certainly did). Thank you Ron for the attention to detail!
We spent our FL spring break here during March 2025. Ron was an amazing host who was extremely responsive with any questions! This is an amazing house in an amazing piece of property in Toxaway, NC. This house has a whole home generator which coincidently we needed because our first night we had a horrible storm causing us to lose power for a while, but the generator kicked on and ran seamlessly and our fun wasn’t interrupted at all! This house has everything from kitchen to towels, to batteries, with a fridge that makes 3 different kinds of ice. The house sleeps 14 people. I highly recommend this property. We were 45 minutes to Highlands, 20 minutes to Cashiers and to Brevard . All towns have wonderful restaurants and shops. Los Vaqueros Mexican restaurant which is 2 minutes from the house and the food is fantastic! The view of the waterfall from the deck is so nice and you’re not too close but close enough to hear the water. We would go back in a heartbeat! Thanks, Ron!
We were searching for a place big enough for 12, where our Ohio and NC families could meet for a long weekend. It was my husband and I, my 3 adult children and 2 spouses, and 5 grandchildren ages: 11,9,7,4 and 11 months.
This home had plenty of room and was so beautiful. We enjoyed so many things: the outdoor fireplace, hot tub, foozball table, not to mention the beautiful view. It was a very short drive to the trail to Rainbow Falls. (This is a pretty strenuous hike!) Ron, the owner, called to check all was OK when we arrived and responded to texts when we had a question . The house was very well stocked with anything you might need. Thank you, Ron
We had such a wonderful stay at this property! The highlight was definitely the breathtaking waterfall view, it was absolutely stunning and made the entire experience feel peaceful and refreshing. The home itself was spotless, very clean, and well taken care of, which made me feel immediately comfortable and relaxed. Everything was just as described, if not better, and I truly appreciated the attention to detail in keeping the space so welcoming. I would highly recommend this rental to anyone looking for a clean, scenic, and memorable getaway
We spent 7 days with 2 families in the house and we loved the space. With 3 levels, 2 living spaces, a huge deck and 4 bathrooms we were never in each others way. We have rented houses many times before and have never seen a kitchen so fully stocked, so many towels and the extensive outdoor seating options with cushions. Highly recommend this house for a larger group looking for a house with a view and hot tub!
Without question exceeded our expectations
The home was very nice with all conveniences plus add one
Very well equipped for cooking with all you need in kitchen plus a lot of spices
We really had a nice experience
