Great Adult Family Vacation Spot

We stayed in this house with our adult children and it was perfect. Plenty of space for everyone inside and outside with a well stocked kitchen for family meals. Enjoyed the hot tub and fireplace after long hikes. Felt secluded but was convenient to hikes and restaurants. Owner was responsive and easy to work with. Oh, and the view was amazing. Highly recommend!

Beautiful Mountain Cabin!

This cabin was perfect for our family's Thanksgiving holiday. There were 11 of us and we actually had more beds than people! Our favorite things about the cabin were the gorgeous view, the stocked kitchen, the fire pit (for smores!), the hot tub, and the poker table downstairs. Everything is just as described and pictured in the listing. We definitely give this house a 10/10!

An amazing stay!!

We spent our FL spring break here during March 2025. Ron was an amazing host who was extremely responsive with any questions! This is an amazing house in an amazing piece of property in Toxaway, NC. This house has a whole home generator which coincidently we needed because our first night we had a horrible storm causing us to lose power for a while, but the generator kicked on and ran seamlessly and our fun wasn’t interrupted at all! This house has everything from kitchen to towels, to batteries, with a fridge that makes 3 different kinds of ice. The house sleeps 14 people. I highly recommend this property. We were 45 minutes to Highlands, 20 minutes to Cashiers and to Brevard . All towns have wonderful restaurants and shops. Los Vaqueros Mexican restaurant which is 2 minutes from the house and the food is fantastic! The view of the waterfall from the deck is so nice and you’re not too close but close enough to hear the water. We would go back in a heartbeat! Thanks, Ron!

Gorgeous view!

We had a really nice time staying here. It is large enough to spread out and have privacy or to be together and look at the beautiful view of the waterfall from the main room. The kitchen was well stocked and the beds were comfortable. Thank you Ron.

An amazing place with a fabulous view!

This property had everything that we wanted. Nice accommodations, a gorgeous view, a fabulous outdoor fireplace, 2 indoor fireplaces, a jacuzzi and a well equipped kitchen. We had an amazing time and will rent this property again next year.

Beautiful property and even better views

House was perfect for our extended family getaway with room for everyone to spread out and have there own space or gather together. Kitchen was well stocked and beds were comfortable. The outdoor deck overlooking the waterfall was a favorite place for morning cup of coffee and outdoor fireplace was great for relaxing outside after dinner.

Great property!

The house and location were both great. We had 3 generations there and it worked out very well lower floor was perfect for our night owls without disturbing the others. Beautiful setting to enjoy for any not interested in the many activities available nearby. Host was very helpful. Would definitely rent again.

Gorgeous weekend

Our group of 9 thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was large enough to comfortably accommodate everyone. Beds were very comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked, and outside areas were outstanding. There were plenty of outside seating areas to eat and enjoy the fantastic scenery. We loved sitting under the stars at the fire pit, listening to great music and enjoying good conversation. The house was very clean. We’d love to return for another hiking weekend next fall.

Family reunion / Mom's 70th surprise birhtday trip

We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. The house was so well laid out and spacious. We have a large family and really enjoyed the indoor space as well as all the outdoor amenities. There's not a better vacation house out there!

The house exceeded our expectations. Pictures cannot do the views justice, and the overall coziness yet elegant feel the house gives is just incredible. We took a short hike to a beautiful creek below, enjoyed the game room downstairs for cards, and grilled dinner outside on the gas grill. The owner of the house could not have been nicer and more cooperative. I highly recommend staying here!

Wonderful!

We traveled with another family (4 adults, 7 children) and had an amazing experience. The owner communicates very well and provides detailed instructions for the home. The house is very well equipped and in a perfect location! We got stuck for an extra day because of a huge snowstorm and the owner was incredibly helpful and accommodating!

Fantastic Stay

We had a fantastic time at the house. It was fully stocked, clean and felt like home. We really enjoyed the hot tub and down stairs area the most. Our boys basically claimed the bedroom upstairs as their place and really enjoyed it. I really cannot say enough positive things about the home, area and owners. They were great from the start and we are extremely happy we had the opportunity to stay at this fantastic home. Oh, and the view of the Toxaway Falls are ridiculously amazing!!!

Destination Toxaway Wedding

A spectacular home with an amazing view. Very comfortable guest areas and well equipped kitchen. Amazing view and great outdoor fireplace are just a few of the great features of this mountain home. Ron is an awesome host. Very informative and always available by cell phone or text. We hiked right out the back door, and the access road was not bad- a minivan could navigate it easily. Great View, Great House, Great Times!!!

If you want beautiful views with great accommodations, then this is the place for you! Our family and friends got together here to celebrate our son's college graduation. Fall Getaway!

My family and I (10 adults total) stayed here to see the beautiful NC mountain fall colors. Our stay was wonderful. The house is fabulous, and met all of our needs. We enjoyed grilling dinners, the large jacuzzi, and watching the stars by the outdoor fire pit. The view from the deck is spectacular, and there is much to do in the surrounding areas. We loved the day trips to Highlands, Lake Glenville, and Cashiers. We were only there for 4 nights, but wish we could have stayed longer. There is enough to do in the area to stay busy for a couple of weeks.

Beautiful home.. comfortable.. homey... had everything we needed

Myself and 11 family members went for a long weekend and they could not stop raving about the house and how beautiful it was. Great views but the ultimate was the view of the falls. We had a great time more than enough room for all of us to spread out and be comfortable. All we had to do was bring groceries everything else was there. We are all looking forward to making another trip and taking in the beauty God created.

Why they chose this property

My wife is originally from northwestern NC so building this beautiful home in western Carolina was a natural choice for us. We love the scenery and tranquility of the mountains and surrounding waterfalls.

What makes this property unique

When we bought this property years ago we had a vision to build a home that would be comfortable for our family. Later we decided to open our home to guests so they could enjoy the wonderful atmosphere and natures beauty are family so enjoyed.
