We spent a long weekend at the cabin. Great location for our hiking and bird hunting expeditions in both ME and NH. Very clean, comfortable beds and well equipped kitchen. The game room was fun and the sauna was exceptional. Jo Al was quick to reply to my questions about the property. Would stay here again.
Our second stay at the cottage - Perfect for our family, tons of space to spread out, well stocked, cozy and comfortable. Located close to lake and all trails. LOVE the new deck - great for relaxing! Looking forward to stay # 3 in the future!
The property was excellent!!It is in a nice quiet setting with all the amenities needed! My children and I loved the place and look to book it again next year!!
Really nice camp with cozy feel yet plenty of room inside. The kitchen is well equipped and We cooked some great meals on the grill as well. There is a great outdoor space with a fire pit and clear view of the stars at night. We had a lovely, relaxed stay.
The owner JoAl was easy to contact and answered questions promptly. The property was great- very clean on check in, everything needed for a stay and very pet friendly. Thank you for such a lovely stay! Highly recommended.
We have stayed at the Elk Lodge multiple times and really enjoy it! The beautiful location is fantastic for snowmobiling, ice fishing, snowshoeing, etc. There is plenty of comfy seating and sleep space and the kitchen is fully outfitted. We can’t wait to come back next year. The owners are great.
This property was very convenient for our visit. The cabin met all our needs. The children enjoyed the air hockey and tv. We would book this property again. Next time we will try the corn hole.
This property was perfect for us: a secluded location in the woods; plenty of space; well-equipped kitchen, bedrooms, and basement areas; immaculately clean. It was also easy to work remotely - we appreciated the wifi speed and dedicated work space. Great communication with the host. Would stay here again!
The location of this property is wonderful - Very close to mountains and lake for hiking and all water activities.
Host was very responsive and answered all questions almost immediately! She even provided something special for our children as a surprise!
The cabin was well appointed and had everything we needed.
We will definitely be returning for future stays!
We came north from Carolina and Georgia for our uncles 90th.
This house was great. So peaceful and clean. There were 3 of us but it is perfect for up to 8.
Thank you again for your home !
The cabin was great and it’s new. Plenty of space for 4 people. My teenage boys especially enjoyed the air hockey table. We also played Scrabble a few times. The host is very nice and quick to respond with answers to questions. Under normal circumstances, the cabin is about 30 minutes from Sunday River though with the recent flooding damage, the drive took longer.
Stayed 6 nights in Dec 2023

Anthony, it was a pleasure hosting you and your family. Happy New Year.
Repeat guests—still our favorite! Cozy and cute with modern conveniences and upgrades in a beautiful setting. We really appreciated the extra shower this year—a must when traveling with more than two people—and spent many mornings bird watching from the new side deck. Cooked many a family dinner after happy days on the lake or trail (and baked one blueberry pie!) in the spacious kitchen. Host JoAl is very responsive to any concerns. Thanks for an excellent stay!
The total process for booking to communication with host was seamless! The house is well planned out.All travel amenities provided made the stay so simplified.10/10 exceeded my expectations!
