Why they chose this property
We love New Orleans - the people, the history, and the gorgeous old homes! After a lot of research, we found this 100+ year old Victorian double and fell in love with it too.
We invite you to experience the allure of a bygone era in our historic neighborhood. Revel in the magic of old world charm with soaring 13 ft ceilings and original architecture while enjoying modern amenities. During its renovation, the previous owners were extremely careful to ‘modernize’ the house without stripping aways its original charm and character. Your private side of the double has 3 exposed brick fireplaces and original 100+ year old hardwood floors, bargeboard walls and cypress wainscot ceilings. These were caked with paint, tile, and sheetrock and painstaking restored to their natural beauty. In the kitchen, we have an 100 year old, original condition high-back sink, rescued from a house in Mid-City that sat empty since Katrina.

What makes this property unique
Discover the other side of NOLA in what we think is the best neighborhood with the most to do outside of the touristy French Quarter. Clean, quiet, safe, friendly, and central to almost anywhere you'd want to go in New Orleans. Admire the lavish mansions in the Garden District, hop aboard a historic streetcar on St. Charles, or spend a day exploring all that Magazine Street has to offer.
