This place is perfect for getting away from the daily grind of work. The scenery is beautiful and I loved everything about the cabin. I would definitely recommend staying here if you just wanted to get away for a few days
We had such a great stay. It was so quiet and peaceful. The horses were beautiful. It was great falling asleep to the sounds of crickets, occasional horse neighing or the hoots of an owl. It was a nice reprieve from the “busy” of life.
Great little home, perfect for those that want to get away from the hotel routine. Bed was supper comfy. Location was super quite and peaceful, sat on the outdoor patio rocking chairs and enjoyed to forest sounds at night with the horses grazing all around.
This was a beautiful location, very private very quiet. The tiny home was very pretty. We stayed for two days. We arrived late on the first day and the owners let us leave a little late on our checkout day. That was nice. However, the shower was unusable as well as the other faucets in the house if you needed anything other than cold water. There was a strong smell of sulfur and eggs. We had to leave the cottage for a while after letting the shower run for 10 minutes to see if it would fix because the smell was so strong. It never did clear. We ended up showering at my daughter’s dorm. We did not contact the owners because we were only there for one full day, and with the weather did not see a point. I left them a message when we left, but never received a response. Although it’s a beautiful place, we would not say there again for this reason.
Lovely accommodations right in the middle of the pastures. What a lovely way to start you day, seeing all the horses. It was a truly nice place and a great place to stay
We had a lovely time staying here. You can look out any window and see horses grazing in the pastures! Everything was clean and organized. It was very peaceful and was a great home base for our trips out to the beach and Wilmington!
This is a beautifully decorated and peaceful little place. It is perfect for a weekend to reset your soul. The hosts respond immediately. You've got all you need right here--plus horses to pet.
Katherine's property was great! It was located on a beautiful horse farm, tucked away from the big city life. It as so peaceful and quiet. A super cute and cozy place. We would definitely return.
This property was more than we could have imagined! It was by far the best place I have ever stayed! Just a few minutes from our daughter at UNCW and the city life of Wilmington but yet so secluded and peaceful. We loved the animals and the farm grounds. It was amazing to see a working horse farm up close and having coffee watching the horses was a great way to start the day! The accommodations were wonderful and they had everything we could possibly need. We will definitely visit again!
I would definitely recommend this little tiny home to anyone looking to stay in the area! The host made the whole process and experience a breeze. They were friendly, accommodating, and responsive. The home was clean, had all basic necessities, quiet and comfy. The horses were a extra bonus to enjoy and we really enjoyed our horseback trail ride! Hands down one of the best stays we've had on vacation. We will be coming back!!
In the country near all attractions, beaches, very quite and peaceful. Air conditioner works great. Gas station and grocery store right down the road. Will be back to visit.
The property looks like the photos and presents as described. It’s in a quiet, serene, rural setting with a front porch that offers a great perch from which to observe the sights and sounds of morning. Host was communicative and responded quickly to questions. Cottage was pristine, well appointed, and cozy for two people. Being surrounded by horses was a big plus!
This is perhaps the best property you never knew you needed to stay at! It is close enough to everything, but far enough away to give you the peace and solitude you need to relax. It’s a beautiful little home that is perfectly decorated. Great amenities. The hosts are absolutely wonderful and are quick to respond to questions you may have. The grounds are beautiful and your neighbors don’t cause a fuss. I enjoyed this stay and I will absolutely back!
