Great location and cute cottage style home for our weekend trip. Nicely appointed and host was very responsive. We’d be happy to stay again next time we’re in the area.
They are not kidding about the train, lol. But it wasnt a problem at all for me or my husband because we read the description and knew what to expect. Cathy was very quick with instructions the day of our trip and I didnt have to worry about how to get in when the time came! Check out instructions were extremely clear as well. This is the CUTEST little apartment EVER! Clean and modernized with enough of the old charm left to remind you of the quality craftsmanship and history of the home and area. Fully stocked kitchen.... but dont let that stop you from getting out to the local eateries! The Rabbit Hole and the Battlefield Bakery are absolute musts! Be prepared for a lot of walking (uphill and up stairs) but most of the necessities are really close to this VRBO. Wished we would have packed our swim suits for a tube down the rivers. We did hike around the battlefield/park a bit and loved the scenery.
This suite was cozy and private. I can't give it 5 stars as I had to park at the National park and ride the shuttle back because there was no available parking near to the suite. Three hours of driving around and shuttling for parking just was just too much. It was very frustrating to me.
This is the cutest little place Location is ideal for Hapers Ferry experience Place was exactly as advertised We needed assistance while there and Bryan was there rigjt away to fix the issueWould definitely recommend and I would stay there again
everything in the unit was good. The only weak spot was the cold. There was a wind tunnel of cold air coming in the window by the microwave. Great location and facility, we had a ball.
Awesome location, love the history of the Inn, comfortable. But, the rattling pipes every time the toilet is flushed anywhere in the Inn is disturbing, and we could hear the phone ringing and the man talking on the phone in the apartment above us, as well as everytime they dropped something and walked around.
Talk about the PERFECT LOCATION!!!! This property couldn’t be in a better spot in Harper’s Ferry… convenient to all there is to do and see. The Inn has everything you need for a comfortable stay.
All went very well. Good location. I loved the sounds of the trains going by at all hours. Quirky apartment in a historic building. All appliances worked well. Bed comfy. TV streamed very well. If weather had cooperated it would have been wonderful!!

Liked: Cleanliness, property conditions & facilities, communication
Had a great stay. Communication with owner was outstanding.
The location was fabulous! Close to hiking, shops, etc. the host was very available to answer questions and offer support if we needed it. The listing about the sound of the trains coming through was honest which I appreciate knowing what we’re getting into. The trains were loud, but it was fun when we could watch them go by. The place was very cute. Complete with a full kitchen. The kitchen could use a couple of good knives and a cookie sheet, but it came complete with Coffee pods, sugar, and there was even salt and pepper in there which was really nice. Thank you to Cathy for being such a nice host-my sister and I really enjoyed our hiker’s weekend!
