Very good place to stay and close to everything. Parking is somewhat tricky because there isn't parking. You must obtain a national park entry pass so that you can park across the road in their parking lot. There was also a musty smell in the bedroom, not sure why.
We had a great visit in Harpers Ferry staying at the 1799 Inn Pullman Suite. The property was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The location is definitely the best part - we could explore by foot, easily return to use the bathroom or cool off and it was only a short walk. Would suggest adding a cutting board. Thank you.
Very unique property! Second to the oldest building in Harper’s Ferry (the oldest being Robert Ferry house at the top of the hill). The area is kind of a basement (with windows, so you don’t feel shut in) and it is a bit musty, but there is a dehumidifier there which helps. Not off-putting. Maybe bring your favorite scent with you? Anyway, very cute set up. Comfortable. I slept on the sofa bed, which is not a standard type. Was glad I brought a foam mattress top, as my middle-age body would have been in rough shape without it. Kids would have no problem sleeping on the sofa bed!!! Very clean except a few cobwebs under the kitchen cabinets. AMAZING location—close to everything in walking distance. Yes, there is a train. An active train that rumbles by and the horn blows. We found that to be endearing and cool. This property is directly across from the train station. I would highly recommend this property.
Great location and cute cottage style home for our weekend trip. Nicely appointed and host was very responsive. We’d be happy to stay again next time we’re in the area.
They fail to mention a train is across the street with trains every hour or two all night long, so that being said we got little to no sleep and coupled with the fact it wasn’t mentioned we were in the basement so lots of people making noise up above also. Food on the silverware and the place has a window air conditioner but it is very humid in here and what is does cool is just the living room. No fan anywhere to help. It was convenient and the sheets were clean, if that is all you need. I’m not trying to be negative but just truthful as I found none of this mentioned when I was looking at reviews.
This is the cutest little place Location is ideal for Hapers Ferry experience Place was exactly as advertised We needed assistance while there and Bryan was there rigjt away to fix the issueWould definitely recommend and I would stay there again
This suite was cozy and private. I can't give it 5 stars as I had to park at the National park and ride the shuttle back because there was no available parking near to the suite. Three hours of driving around and shuttling for parking just was just too much. It was very frustrating to me.

Had a great stay. Communication with owner was outstanding.
Talk about the PERFECT LOCATION!!!! This property couldn’t be in a better spot in Harper’s Ferry… convenient to all there is to do and see. The Inn has everything you need for a comfortable stay.
Awesome location, love the history of the Inn, comfortable. But, the rattling pipes every time the toilet is flushed anywhere in the Inn is disturbing, and we could hear the phone ringing and the man talking on the phone in the apartment above us, as well as everytime they dropped something and walked around.
everything in the unit was good. The only weak spot was the cold. There was a wind tunnel of cold air coming in the window by the microwave. Great location and facility, we had a ball.
