Property was nice, secluded, and our dogs were welcome and loved it. Nice hiking, and we brought our boat and went to the lake. Definitely will stay again.
Had a really great stay at Homestead. Easy to find and in a great location to do lots of outdoor activities! Very clean and stocked with everything you need, can’t wait to stay here again!!
This place is amazing. The property is well kept and clean with thoughtful touches throughout. Well stocked kitchen and bathroom and ample towels, space, and instructions.
Wonderful experience; perfect accommodations, well appointed kitchen & home. Great to have washer dryer combo. Only 2 suggestions- let folks know how far out from Floyd, Willis & Radford as well as the kitchen needs at least 2 steak knives. All around great vacation!
This was the first trip I have ever taken solo. I broight my 2 dogs with me. I couldnt have asked for a better host or spot to stay! It was so peaceful and Jessica put so much thought into it. She had 2 spots with 4 bowls for my dogs and cute little dog treats. I absolutley loved it and will be staying again, hopefully soon!
It was a wonderful place in a beautiful setting. We did not spend as much time as we would like at the yurt due to our daughter's graduation from Virginia Tech. It would be a great getaway retreat because the yurt is furnished with everything you need.
We had the best weekend exploring Willis and Floyd, Virginia! We brought our dog and were able to spend time down at the creek, hiking, making a fire outside and enjoying some of Floyd’s restaurants. The Yurt was beautiful and cozy and we hope to come back in the fall!
The yurt exceeded our expectation, Jessica went above, and beyond.we had everything we needed, and alot of things we didnt. The hike down to the water was great. It does test your endurance coming back up though.Still worth it though. We enjoyed staying there so much we didnt want to leave. If you are looking for a get away, and love the outdoors this is the place for you.Thank you for making this our perfect get away.WE ARE LOOKING FORWARD TO DOING THIS AGAIN.
Never stayed in a Yurt before but this exceeded all our expectations!! Nature all around but we were provided all amenities you could think of and more!! We highly recommend a stay!!
We spent the weekend here celebrating my husbands birthday and we could not have been more pleased.
The location was absolutely perfect for us to spend some quiet time alone and the Yurt itself was beautiful.
The yurt is a great spot for a getaway. Very secluded with tons of property to explore. The host thought of everything you want and need when stocking it. Very dog friendly.
Had a great stay. The yurt is very comfortable and is decorated amazingly well. Had a great time tubing through On the Water and we took a day trip to Mt. Airy, NC for an old squad car tour of Andy Griffith's hometown. We also really enjoyed the local fireworks display.
What an amazing weekend! Exactly what we needed to decompress and enjoy some time away from the craziness. Jessica made sure we had everything we needed to be comfortable and happy. We are already planning a summer and fall trip to come back!
We had an amazingly restful time here. It was very well stocked with everything we needed to relax and to explore the outdoors. Everything about our experience was great. We found the host really had as covered as far as the small important miscellaneous items you need for a trip. Everything about the property was really great. Would highly recommend for anyone looking to get away and recharge. One of the best experiences we’ve had.
I picked the spot for convenience to a local event for me and my husband( and dogs)… and we fell in love with it! Clean, good sized deck, well organized, and a beautiful wooded spot. High recommended!
We highly enjoyed our stay at the Haven on Homestead. The yurt was cozy, well maintained, and ideally situated to provide both privacy as well as easy access to hiking and exploring the town of Floyd. I appreciated the ability to bring along our two dogs, who are heavily integrated into our lives and adventures. Jessica was easy to communicate with and made the check in as well as checkout processes seamless. I definitely recommend this property and would be happy to stay there again.
I stayed for two nights with my pup as part of a 12 day road trip. The Yurt was fantastic! All the amenities of home out in the wilderness! So much to do in the area! My dog and I had a fantastic time hiking and exploring. We would then go back and relax in the Yurt. The host was very responsive and helpful. Would highly recommend it. We’ll be back!
