Great little cabin in a gorgeous setting! We had everything we needed (plus some!) for our stay, and it was all very clean. The back porch and the view is amazing!! I could drink coffee out there every morning and never be sad. Wonderful stay!
Great little place in the middle of nowhere exactly what we needed. It's like going to Grandma's summer cabin on the lake. Would definitely stay here again.

The cabin is very cute and secluded. We did end up leaving early as we didn’t feel super comfortable in the space. It had been over a month since the last guests had been there. There were lots of dead bugs, cobwebs, dust, hair on the bathroom floor. I’m sure it had been cleaned when the previous stay left but it seemed like the house had been sitting for awhile. It was very stuffy/musty inside as well. Houses out in the woods can definitely get dirty and musty quickly without occupants- that’s normal, we just couldn’t get comfortable. Granted, I’m a cleaning lady and maybe a bit of a clean freak. Everyone has a different threshold for cleanliness and smells, So to each their own! Hosts seemed very sweet. They had really cool vintage things around the place. I loved the old wallpaper. I hate leaving anything negative but I felt caught off guard from everyone else’s reviews talking about cleanliness. We decided to cut our vacation short after one night, forfeit the money of the second night, and head home to our own bed. We had a good time exploring Parke County!
Home in the woods was ideal for a couple of days getaway. Room was comfortable, kitchen had everything you would need to prepare meals and snacks. Spent alot of time on the back deck enjoying the view while having my favorite libation.
The trees were beautiful (oct/nov) very peaceful- close to the covered bridge loop. Loved all the windows. Would love to see even a fake fire place (the fire stove was ok (you cant watch the fire :( ) Would stay again.
If you are looking for a place to hike at Turkey Run or rent a boat for a day at the lake, this house is perfect. Quiet, with a wonderful back deck, the house was the perfect base for our weekend getaway.
Very cute and quaint cabin in the woods. Was perfect for a 2 night stay. Appreciate the owner and his communication!! He was very helpful and so nice about everything!
Our cabin was surrounded by trees and not far from the lake. It was our second time staying here. We'll be coming back again. Was quiet and so peaceful. Saw many deer too. Its such a beautiful area. Mark and Pam
We really enjoyed our stay here. It was nestled back in the woods with a very scenic deck and backyard. The listing was exactly as pictured and we felt very comfortable. We’ll be staying again!

It was very peaceful and just secluded enough to be private, but not too far away from activities. Had a few cobwebs, but they added to the charm. Would stay here again! Host was amazing.
