I was traveling with a friend in a full power wheelchair and have learned to bring my own entrance way ramps. Once inside the condo, there was plenty of room to move around and get through all the doorways. Using the same ramp system to get out on the deck. This allowed us to enjoy a pleasant evening there. The house is beautifully located for short drives to everything we needed and was right across the street from a public beach access that we were able to use with a beach wheelchair to get my friend to the waters edge. We enjoyed our short stay!

We absolutely loved our stay! The condo was clean, spacious, beautifully decorated and had everything we needed!! Everything was just as described! Hosts were attentive, answered our questions quickly and thoroughly during the booking of the property, when we were preparing for the trip and while there! It was steps to the beach and located near many things! We found ourselves walking to dinner and shops each night and ending the day by walking right down the steps to the Holy Cow creamery right next door! 10/10 would recommend! Have already discussed booking again in the future!

Great Property!

A wonderful rental - good layout and location. The beach access was very convenient, as was the Ten O Six restaurant and Holy Cow Creamery right next door. Large outdoor deck with a nice picnic table was the perfect spot for breakfasts and dinners (with lunches at the beach!). Having access to the elevator helped with bringing all of our stuff up and down.

Great location. Could walk to the beach. The bistro and ice cream shop next door were a great bonus. Beach towels would have been great to have been provided, but we were able to pick some up at a local store. Our family of 5 (3 adult children) had a great time.

First off, the condo was great. Plenty of room, very clean, lots of storage, and fully stocked. Close to the beach access and walking distance from lots of good places to eat. We did have an incident where a repair man knocked on the door then tried to enter the condo using the door code. This was very alarming to us, being a group of ladies. We denied him access to the condo as we were not informed by the owner or property management company that someone would be coming by for maintenance. This was a huge safety concern for us. Could use improvement: Directions on how to use the thermostat. It took a while to figure it out. Also, is seemed the temperature was being altered remotely and several times the condo was hot and we realized it was at 77 degrees, which we did not set it to. For our entire visit (3 nights) there were 2 large laundry bags sitting right outside our door - the dirty linens from the previous guests. Please have a physical copy of the house rules/ local recommendations/ check-out requirements.

Family Fun Time

Excellent condo

Condo was very clean and the kitchen was very well equipped with everything we needed to make a meal. It was a short walk to the beach and restaurants and shopping were a short drive away. We would recommend this condo to others.

Enjoyabl stay at Sweet & Salty

Visited Kill Devil Hills during Memorial Day weekend and had a relaxing stay at Sweet & Salty. Condo was well furnished, and more than adequate for our group of 4. There was a minor issue with the elevator not being able to call from the 2nd or 3rd floor but our host was very communicative and explained a work around. Thanks for a great trip!
