Cake by the Ocean lodge is centrally located in the golf-cart friendly downtown area of Port Aransas one block from the beach. This bright and beachy two story house offers a lodge like feel with 20ft open beam ceilings full of light and open space for entertaining. The upstairs Great Room has space for everyone to do their own thing and mingle at the same time. Whether sitting on the attached front porch watching the Palm trees sway or inside at the bar sipping drinks; watching a game on the large TV and having appetizers this room has it all. This room comfortably accommodates multiple families and groups. Enjoy the master king bedroom with a private bathroom or the bunk room with a twin over full size bunk bed and private full size bathroom. With plenty of seating for all; the kitchen; dining; and living areas is an open floor plan; which is great for entertaining with family and friends together. For many the kitchen is a real bonus. There is no need to bring your own utensils; or bake ware; as most of your standard cooking supplies are provided. The downstairs area has a bunk room with a full over full and a twin over twin bed and trundle and is perfect for all the kids and young adults to sleep; gather; and play games. An attached sitting room provides a good spot for book reading or some solo time. Downstairs a cozy master bedroom with a queen bed and 43 inch TV awaits. The full size bathroom is shared by the downstairs master and bunk room. An additional half bath is located downstairs as well. The backyard has a large tree and shade structure; that will reduce harsh afternoon sun and add additional outdoor living space. This area is perfect for BBQing and gathering under the covered Pavillion. Play a game of Ring Toss or Washers; relax in the Adirondack chairs; and watch the kids play in the clubhouse. The backyard is a great place to watch the sunset and charge up for the next day. Cake by the Ocean has a fully fenced in back yard for your pets. Pets are allowed for an additional $50 per night fee. In addition; there are two outdoor dog crates that are partially protected from the elements. Located on popular 11th St. and close to everything; makes this home Golf Cart accessible; and walking distance to beach. Enjoy the outdoor shower after a day at the beach and when it?s time to head to the beach or local restaurants and stores the location is ideal. If you have a special flag or windsock you want to fly just raise the collapsible Flag pole in the front yard and let your group know where you are.
