Spacious water front six bedroom house perfect for two families or a large family retreat. Enjoy our paddle boat or bring your own toys! Don’t forget the fishing rods to hook onto some large mouth bass or pickerel right off the shore. The yard has a huge swing set for the kids and a large deck for the adults to enjoy the magnificent water views. While sitting on the deck, observe nature with bald eagles flying overhead and otters playing in the lake.

This spacious home which includes Central air throughout has a large kitchen and living area. The master bedroom (downstairs) has a queen bed, and access to the downstairs full bathroom. The bedrooms upstairs (5 in total) consist of: one double bed, one king bed, two separate bedrooms each with bunk beds and then another bedroom with twin bunk beds. The upstairs also features a full bath with a beautiful walk in shower. There is also an outdoor shower.

Bring your bikes and head off through the trails of Shining Sea Falmouth Bike Path. Popular beaches like Old Silver Beach and The Heights is a quick 10 minute drive away. Finish the day at downtown Falmouth or Woods Hole with a great meal, shopping, ice cream and people watching. The Island Queen is a ten minute drive if you want to explore Martha's Vineyard for the day.

There's a family room with SmartTV and DVD player, and a spacious eat-in kitchen with a slider to the deck and the grill. Also included are a microwave, coffee maker, washer/dryer, dishwasher, linens, WIFI, Central air and a basement for storing all your vacation gear, such as bikes, beach chairs and coolers. You also have access to a paddle boat on the lake! Home includes 6 off street parking spots.

We loved this property! The location was perfect. We enjoyed the lake and visited many of Falmouth’s beaches throughout the week. The kitchen was large and has everything you need to cook for your group. We loved the deck and the propane fireplace. Large kitchen and living area with enough space to sleep the 12 of us. Large beautiful back deck with a nice fire pit. Great location, close to everything including our favorite Old Silver Beach and if you don’t feel like going to the beach you can float, swim or take the paddle boat on the lake right in your back yard. Golf Trip

Stayed here last year as well and liked it so much we came back again. We are all high school and college chums who have been coming to an annual golf trip for almost fifty years. The house here easily accommodated our group comfortably and was in a very opportune location for many golf courses. Unfortunately, this year our second day was a rainout but we made the best of it by going candlepin bowling which was a blast.

Julia's father, a fire fighter, bought it with his plowing money when he was in his 20s. From there, this house has brought friends and family together for years! Many friends and family members can remember great times in this house and will often refer back to the times on Pinecrest. Now it's your turn, we would love to share our joy and time in this house and in Falmouth with you!

Why they chose this property

This property is a tranquil setting where you can escape the busy hecticness of the cape in July, but easily rejoin it when you feel the need to, with a quick 8 minute drive to all the amenities that Falmouth has to offer. It's quiet, peaceful and just what you need in the summer. It's on a swimmable lake with a dock and paddle boat. This property is ideal for spending a day on the lake and then heading into town for dinner and drinks and then heading to the beach the next day.

What makes this property unique

If you are sick of the drabby typical cape cottage then this house is for you! This is a clean, large updated 6-bedroom house. It has central air, new windows, new hardwood floors, and is newly painted. The bathrooms are beautiful with updates. A quick walk down the hill brings you to the lake with the dock. Down at the lake, there is a fire pit with Adirondack chairs. Off the first floor, there is a sprawling deck for ideal outdoor living to host dinner with family and friends. You also have access to everything in Falmouth with a quick 8 min drive to the Heights, downtown, and Old Silver.
